Lots of fun. Brings back memories of the good old Nintendo and arcade days. Great on the Deck.

Early Access Review
I nominated Black Mesa for The Labor of Love Award in the 2019 Steam Awards. I've been supporting it since it was first announced many years ago. I bought it when it was released on Steam as Early Access on November 27, 2015. I played it through several times and got all the achievements. I could go on... This is a great game that is a faithful re-creation of the original Half-Life, but even better. Everyone in the community is excited for the release of the final maps this month or next. I will update this review in the near future.

Cinders is a choose your own adventure visual novel. It is a re-telling of the classic Cinderella story. The writing, artwork, music, sound effects and characters are all surprisingly well done. The gameplay is smooth and the dialog is entertaining and not boring, even though we all know the basis of the story. There are many decisions to make throughout, and each decision changes the story and leads to multiple endings. Not only are there multiple endings, but several variations of each ending, depending on the choices made. When re-playing to find alternate endings, you have options to skip dialog that was previously encountered. That was a great idea by the developer because having to click through all the dialog again would have been a drag. Overall this visual novel sets a high bar in the genre and I have no complaints. Recommended.

5-Star Fail. Clearly, this game was released before being fully developed. It is pretty bad on a lot of levels. The maps and graphics overall are actually decent but that's about it. It isn't fun or rewarding at all, just clunky and buggy. Enjoyment only came from laughing at how bad it is, and gaining extra disk space when uninstalling.

A unique and addictive co-op experience that other developers still can't touch after being released over XXX years ago. Sad L4D3 never came

If you're a fan of the films, then you will enjoy this. I've only finished the first episode so far, and will be starting on the rest soon. I'm not too sure about re-playability though because there's set events that happen regardless of your actions in game. It's half and half point-and-click asking/answering questions, and running around solving puzzles (which actually can be fairly challenging if you choose not to use clues). So I recommend it especially if you're a BTTF fan.
