I think it's time for the first honest review since this game's first huge update. This game is GOOD. SUPER GOOD. Not great, not perfect, just super good...sometimes. When it's not good, its way too grind-heavy, time consuming, and unfair. Let me talk about the game's strengths before I talk about its weaknesses.

Strengths:
1. Character skill synergies
2. Impactful and customizable upgrade tree
3. Tons of Weapons
4. Said weapons are fun to use
5. Each character can be built a handful of ways, providing interesting FPS playstlyes
6. Occult Scroll System is fun to use and experiment with

Weaknesses:
1. Enemy attacks feel like they do a bit too much damage considering the sheer amount there are in a given area
2. (Especially in the later levels) Unhealthy combo of long range to close range enemies. Can feel a bit overwhelming at times
3. Player targeting for bosses are uneven
4. SAMURAI PIRATE SHIP BOSS
> Boss's fire rate feels a bit too high, making it easy to get bombarded with enemies, poison jellyfish that slow, and cannonfire.
> There are no red danger circles for the second stage of the boss, making maneuvering through the stage extremely difficult
5. Why are you allowed only one revive???

Gunfire Reborn is a good game that incorporates FPS and rougelike mechanics. The multiplayer is fun and interesting as there are a ton of weapon and character combos that can be discovered. However, the game can feel a bit cheap, difficult, and unfair most times. It requires a bit much of its players, even in normal mode. Bosses feel like they deal too much damage and have unavoidable/unfair attack patterns.
