DUUUUUDE, the devs have stumbled upon something amazing right here. I havent seen many Narrative driven survival games but this one takes the cake. I would be so bold as to call this one a Genre Defining title. from the puzzles to the fishing, this ones a gem. DID I MENTION THE EASTER EGGS?!?!?! Half-Life and Portal fans (along with several other title) rejoice because there are HUGE nods in our direction.

Buy it, this ones worth the price they ask for it. im almost 100 hours in and im STILL finding new stuff so yeah. you will get your moneys worth here.

This game does well even to this day. Start off as one of the three major factions and assert your dominance the best way you know how. Explore the many different planetary systems, Colonize other worlds, exploit the various different resources to build up your grand fleet. Move out and exterminate your rivals and make allies of your friends. The modding community is stellar as well, with mods ranging from Halo to Stargate and everything in between.

Grab this game if you're looking to scratch that old timey RTS itch. space combat is on point and the ground combat is epic. The modding community isnt hald-bad either. Grab the RAW mod if you wanna fight in the Clone Wars or put a fresh spin on the Galactic Civil War era with AOTR. There is even a remake mod that brings this old gem into the modern era with updated graphics, more units and all around better gameplay. How will you fight?

only played this a little bit and i am hooked on it. literally play what ever you want, a bounty hunter, space trucker, miner or even a courier. the choice is truly yours.

this is an oldie but a goodie. the modding community is out of this world. find another game that lets you command a band of mercs in a medieval setting and, eventually, gain the same power as say, the local lord or even the king.

I played the absolute crap out of this on the original N64. Got really good at it. Always had a thing on the side for racing games, from Need For Speed to Nascar and even Gran Turismo. This oldie, in my personal, humble opinion blows all the above out of the water. When the game says you're going 519 mph (i assume unless someone know the Star Wars measurement for speed) it FEELS like 519 mph. The track zips by at a blinding pace and only the fastest of reflexes can save you on some of the later tracks. All in all, for any newcomers to oldies but goodies, look past the dated graphics, look past the dated animations. Look instead to the FEEL of the game, back when games were good not cuz it looks good, but because it feels good.

I am amazed how many people disliked this game. Been playing space sims for ages, everything from the x series to elite dangerous. Yes this game is a wee bit arcadey BUT THAT IS THE POINT. Its not meant for hardcore simulation. The controls are really fluid and the game is INCREDIBLY easy to mod. Enemies scale with you yes and it very easy to get in over your head if you're not paying attention. hint hint, DONT FIGHT AN ENEMY FLEET WITHOUT A FLEET OF YOUR OWN. and for god sakes dont engage a dreadnought or a battleship with nothing but a destroyer or a cruiser. i cant help but wonder what people are complaining about with this. If you dont like this game go play something else that is "mur herdker fer meh." this is literally meant to jump in and have fun and experience a nice story, not t o beat you into the ground harder than dark souls with no armor and no sword.

Dont listen to all the shade people throw at this game. I find this game incredibly calming to play. put together a nice playlist of your chillest music, grab some of your finest grog, load up your cannon, hoist your sails and zoom the camera all the way in and just listen to the waves and the seagulls. ONLY ISSUE I HAVE, bring in a map of africa, possibly a few more cargo type, hell maybe even bring EUROPE into the mix. AH and a little more land based action. would love to be able to walk around the towns as you visit them. think sid meiers pirates! other than all that THIS GAME IS FUGGIN AMAZING FOR A FTP
