The final boss doesn't just completely drop the ball, it drives over the ball with a steamroller and then buries the ball under a 20-story building of crap and bad.

I can't even imagine how much pain the Shadow Wars was before rebalancing when they removed the microtransactions, but even in its current state it just doomed the whole 50 hours of game that came before with a fortress reset after introducing a "No chance" perk for an enemy, which negates ALL THREE OF LAST CHANCES I HAD.

Eff. This. Game.

Props to the young devs for finishing the project, but this game is horrible trial-and-error-and-a-sheer-bucketload-of-random-luck crap and should be freeware. Some of the hitboxes (esp. in boss "battles") are either completely arbitrary or just plain broken and several (that's the larger amounts of "several") times I've managed to die from apparently touching the enemy some fifth of the screen width away. The awful blinking noise backgrounds make me feel nauseous for the first time ever from such effects in games. The bosses barely telegraph their attacks or phases and some projectiles are even practically invisible in all the visual clutter (whatever those turd-like ice-cream-sticks are that one of the bosses launch at you) which is a big damn no-no since everything is instakill.

Keep making games, guys, you'll get better at it, I promise. But this one I cannot recommend for anyone to buy.

This is not an actual game with a proper story or anything, more of a point'n'click experiment fun times for an hour. The store page description is accurate. If this kind of thing interests you, I'd recommend it.

The first four episodes are exceptional. I felt the fifth one dropped the ball somewhat in the narrative and writing quality, and very much in pacing the gameplay and cutscenish narrative parts (too little of the former, too long stretches of the latter). As a whole it's a solid experience with stellar presentation.

This one was much better than the first one, Spartan Assault.
...until the last operation is locked behind get-all-goldstars-in-previous-missions crap. I have better games to play.

Had fun until then.

Got stuck in geometry couple of times (once in a grenade box corner) and had to restart a mission. Could have overlooked such bug if not for the last operation bull.

This is not a very good game. It's clearly higher end mobile-level stuff (released on xbox arcade or something like that originally, afair) and I purchased it as such, but the gameplay is boring and the difficulty, even if very easy overall, weirdly bottle-necky in places. There's no story to speak of, more like 30 pieces of flavour text to tie some kind of narrative into the campaign. The finale part is the only one to have anything interesting going on.

At least the Steam version allows fullscreen, unlike the xbox game pass version.

As a spray'n'prayer or run'n'gunner, I really like the aim system of Fistful of Frags, where you CAN'T just run and gun, but have to slow down and actually take aim as if in a duel.

Awesome at LAN with friends.

Still as charming in HD as it was in VGA the first time in 1995.

As far as classic point'n'clicks go, Full Throttle is really short though. My 6 hours of play time include two playthroughs, the first one being my first time in 20 years, the second one a run-through with the commentary mode.

A definite recommendation.

Every gamer should experience at least the first three areas of New England.
