Hey Simple, myself and a team of others would love to seriously re-create a "Chronet-like" GMOD RP server with as you said, is much more focused on community and less focus on violence. I think it can be done very tastefully, just like the original Chronet.
We'd love any assistance you can offer, if you can provide any original Chronet addons/content packs that would be absolutely amazing.

We will not conform to the new wave of pay-to-win gambling mechanics that nearly every modern server forces upon every player, including children. This would mean a lot and we would honor your name in the creation of the new community-focused Chronet-like community server. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, thank you kindly. :)

Don't listen to people's pleas. It's completely fine you're not up for running a Gmod community anymore, I think people asking for it are underestimating the toll it can take (such as being contacted about it years later, still).

If you think your game idea is actually feasible you could consider reviving Chronet in some form again and leveraging the community in order to make the game - either by crowdsourcing development or funding. Either way, good luck with it.
