I played TF2 with my son when he was young.

My son was hardcore. My wife got up one night to pee and found my son missing from his bed. She found him in the basement playing Team Fortress 2 at 2:30am in the morning. He started steam, loaded a server, and was playing happily on my computer. Needless to say, he was grounded for a week from playing any games.

Pretty hardcore for a 5 year old. He's 20 now and has his own steam account.
