Look, no AAA game studio is going to risk making a game like this for many years as you NEED to already have good VR legs before playing, so if you want a game like this it's pretty much your only option. But what an option it is.

I had a lot of fun playing this game, and then I discovered "Extreme Spin Mode". Now my mind has been absolutely blown. If you can handle it, this mode is the closest you will ever come to being Spider-Man in the next ten years. It absolutely blows me away how absolutely exhilarating this mode makes you feel.

Honestly, 10/10. BUT, you should first play Google Earth VR (it's free). If you can't handle the heights and moving around in there, I can not in good conscience recommend this game to you as you will throw up 5 minutes in. If you can handle it however, there is no other VR experience like it.

A great platformer, it manages to be difficult without being annoying. I'd highly recommend it.

Happy to be able to say that I completed this without looking up any guides (although I was tempted to a few times!). If you want an enjoyable twist on the tried and tested gameplay of Portal in levels with plenty of difficulty, then this is the game for you.

A worthy successor to the original Subnautica. While I don't believe that increased surface time is the future of the series, it certainly wasn't boring. While I very much enjoyed this game due to it's similarity to the original Subnautica, I would hope that in a future game the developer takes some different risks and tries more new things underwater.

Pretty fun, I went and got all the achievements cause once you get the hang of it it's easy.

Let me start off by saying that this game has some of the worst gun play I've seen in a game in quite some time. In my opinion the quality of the game is drastically brought down by the combat in general.

But,

what the game does right is movement and since most of the game is about running around, I enjoyed it overall even with it's flaws. While there were still a few things that annoyed me (not all directions are clear, some ledges are only grabbed inconsistently), I very much enjoyed planning a path and duck, weaving, and climbing over the obstacles provided.

Use the mods that let you play custom songs made by others online, and you have potentially the best rhythm game ever.

If you just want a mindless shooty shooty blowy up game then this is for you. It doesn't have the best plot, but it looks damn good sometimes and is a lot of fun to mess around in. It's not a perfect game, and there are some aspects I think other entries in the series did better (final boss fight), but as a physics sandbox it's almost unbeatable.

An incredibly immersive game with a few performance issues here and there. DO NOT look up guides online unless you truly are stuck, try to figure out everything yourself as much as possible. Genuinely one of the best games in my opinion.

The VR version was a bit underwhelming in my opinion, but I accept that it's not a priority for the development team and I'm happy that we got any VR at all. If I had to suggest an improvement to the VR, being able to use your real hands to control tools and vehicles would be great.

Look, if you can't tell by the awards already, it's a pretty good game.
