This is one of my most favourite J/RPG games of all time.
In my opinion, this game has a great story, which explores the themes of standing up for what you believe in, sticking to your justice, learning to confront suffering, and accept the life that you have, along with it's well written characters that fit well into the story (alongside their designs).

It also has a very unique and amazing dungeons where every dungeon fits well with every antagonists characteristics, which is very different from other persona games (although I still don't like mementos, it still has that same looping/endless corridors with many loots and monsters like any other persona games and its really boring and I personally don't like it).

But this is what makes the game very iconic, it's gameplay (specifically combat systems) alongside it's art direction/OST. SERIOUSLY, this game (in my opinion) has the best combat system IN THE WHOLE ENTIRE FRANCHISE, the baton pass system (with its buffs and upgrades), showtimes, many ways to ambush a shadow, and everything. AND THE ART/OST IS SOOO PERFECT (even though Persona 4 Golden is still my overall favourite OST in the whole franchise), every OST fits perfectly with its corresponding scenes/scenery, Lyn is a really good vocalist for this game, how Shoji Meguro makes his music is just *chef kiss* perfect.

Overall, this game is absolutely the best J/RPG game ever made and you HAVE to play it, I personally think that if you want to starting point for new players that want to start their playthrough on the persona series. This game is really replayable with its many personas, choices and endings that you can choose. To be honest, no one can change my mind that this is in fact my most favourite game of all time.

(Also please play other Persona games, they are also really good and very enjoyable, just don't get too bored on the dungeons). Thank you!!!
