This game lives up to the hero shooter title the most (by making it revolve around actual heroes). It's fun seeing the kit ideas that haven't been explored yet by other games in the genre. A lack of role queue gives your team maximum flexibility for crafting comps, which is a double-edged sword depending on who you get paired with. The art style manages to make even the more over-designed looks work, so stuff like the MCU Iron Spider look surprisingly nice. So far the game has been relatively generous with it's free currency, I was able to earn the Insomniac Suit just by doing enough achievements. Overall the game has recognizable characters, a low barrier to entry (free), and it's fun so it's been a wonderful Overwatch alternative. It's new PvE isn't the deepest, but it's fun!

After 3 years, Overwatch 2 has gotten back on track after it's failed "crawl, walk, run" plan.

I wish it still got new weapons, but at least the new maps 3 times a year help it still feel fresh
