It has been absolutely cemented in my mind after more than 6 years of playing this game that developers still do not understand how to manage this game at the level they need to be. It is obvious beyond a doubt that they are improving, but at a such a slow pace, and with constant unnegotiable horrific set backs. I like this game - I love it, even. I will keep playing it as long as it is playable, but that is honestly a line the developers teeter on. The constant stream of new content is great, the constant updates are great, the core gameplay is great. What is not great is the terrible job this game does at making sensible gameplay, constantly developing pointless or overpowered killer powers, perks, addons, maps, tiles, etc.. Every single aspect of this game is a hit or miss on if it works or not, if its balanced or not, if its fun or not. Honestly the devs just make random changes dont really think about how it sits in the game and just publish it. I just am tired of it. I hope the studio realizes it can do much better and cement itself as a gaming staple by just putting more time and effort and better devs on the team. This game is so close to being amazing. Its already always a top 10 game on steam. I wish they would just straighten up their act and get this game to where it should be.
