Even playing solo, I'm loving the feel of the game. It's like a 3D FTL, and YOU'RE THE CREW! Run around shooting the baddies, picking up the loot, extinguishing fires, making repairs, navigating the space, and trying to jump to the next one. I'm looking forward to playing with more people, so it's not just me and the helpful robot.

The latest update adds SO much. If you had trouble staying on track before, you'll like the re-balanced ... whatever it is that keeps the cars in line. Taking corners faster than 40kph feels like insanity now, but it's safe to do. :) Drive the train like you would in real life and you'll be completing trips with ease.

Simple and fun strategy easily sucks the hours out of your life. Maintain the supply routes and expand... or drown!

WOW! The variety of weapons, speed of play, getting going really quick and fast-paced arcade action in 3D is AWESOME!

Minecraft in space! Mine ore, refine metals, build ships and stations, fly around and explore. It's a litle bare-bones on the exploration side, but the building is excellent. With the programmable block and motors to do their bidding, anything is possible.

Best RPG I've played :) Malkavians are a must-try for comedy.

For a free game, Alien Swarm is excellent co-op fun. I would have happily payed $20 to enjoy this slaughterfest with my friends. The variety of tasks, equipment, and abilities rival those of top-tier top-down shooters. These days, you may have to download a few community maps (also a great feature) in order to find random internet strangers to play with, but it's well worth it.
