It's a wonderful extraction shooter with a strong PvE aspect. Nice arcade level fun with more depth than youd believe.

Good game for fans of the series and a little story about what lead Drummer to Tycho.
However, the game itself is nothing special. Choices don't feel like they matter most of the time and it feels like there's less content than some of the other Telltale games.
If you're looking for something deep like Detroit Become Human, this isn't it.
If you want a small, short, additive story to the expanse universe, it's worth getting on sale.

Great game but as usual EA slowly showing why they're so hated in the gaming industry.
Season 1 just dropped, cosmetics are mediocre, the pass costs the usual 15$ but you only get about 400/1000 needed to cover the next season in currency which still forces you to spend another 15$ to top it off next season.
Plus, they didn't take a note out of the Helldivers 2 playbook and the seasons will disappear eventually.
So yeah, not ever going to spend money on the game unfortunately.
Hopefully EA listens to the community because the devs clearly want to make a good game.

Good base of a game but needs a lot more work.
Off the top of my head, graphics cohesion, more content, save/overall progression of some sort, and achievements would all be nice additions.

Nice little chill social fishing game. I really hope the devs keep working on it, adding new zones, events and boats?

The beta was fun but it did feel like it needed some balancing.
Now that the game is all out, it's become flooded with micro transaction systems, a confusing menu, and still haven't fixed the balancing issues.
Heck, it's gotten worse i would say.
It's a shame that all mech games are either trash and/or cash grabs. This isn't any different unfortunately.

I was hoping the microtransactions were 10-20$, but no, its 60$ for a single mech.
The pilots are a gimmick, they add nothing to the game. Only thirst trap and customization money grabs.

They should focus on the mechs and customization for those. Both in design and utilities. Get rid of pilots aside from profile pictures. Make customizations unlockable in game at a reasonable pace and make some premium customizations paid.

Update: I've gone through almost everything Hagga Basin, the PvE map has to offer and some Deep Desert, the game is phenomenal until you hit end game. with over 100 hours of content for the money it's a wonderful experience. End game, however, needs some work. It's built around having big groups and guilds or you have to rat around a lot for barely any progression. Taking a break from the game is also HUGELY punishing. It's tedious to bank stuff and it's also very limited, so you're forced to abandon nearly everything you've worked for unless you log in every three weeks to pay taxes AND refill your base generators.
I hope the end game and taking breaks get better. I will definitely come back when there's more content.

Honestly, even though i'm a huge fan of the Dune IP, i didn't expect much of this game. I expected a survival game like all others, just with a skin over it and even worse because of the planet and diversity being non-existent as a giant desert. Sounds boring.
BUT, i played the beta and I realized i was wrong. I enjoyed my time in the beta. The game feels good to play, the concept just works.
When the game released I bought it and i've been HOOKED. The progression is well paced, not too much grind. Obviously your play style has something to do with it too. If you let yourself get distracted the pacing will slow down.
I'm 52 hours in as of writing this and i'm about mid way through the game. I'll get to end game in another 20 hours or so and then still have the deep desert to play + completing every single zone and achievement.
For the price, you're getting your money's worth.
And with the future of the game being so bright with more story, content, zones and DLCs. No P2W or microtransaction/loot boxes, this game is no brainer if you like survival games.

Barely played any of it but it's a lot of fun already. Even if really hard.
I do think there has to be balancing done as well as UI improvements. The Challenges page is confusing and wonky to navigate through with controller.

Unable to play the regular game with friends online since friend's passes have been removed.
Only way to play is Remote play together which is buggy and stuttery and the gameplay is identical as to having people come over and play with a tablet/controller.
Was really looking forward to the rest of these games. Can't justify getting them since they no longer have proper MP.

Wonderful co-op experience. It's still early access though but as they add more content it will keep getting better.
I did experience a bit of fps drops when it got crazy, hopefully that gets fixed. If it's because of the damage numbers, you can't seem to turn those off yet which is odd.
I do think it needs more mob variety especially when it comes to bosses and events.
And the elemental infusions seem to just be combining the two singular element effects. It'd be nice if the combined infusions had a bit more uniqueness on top of the combined effects.
Nonetheless, great game!
