I'm done with this game.

When it works, it's awesome. The landscape is impeccable. The mechanics around fixing your car and salvaging scrap is shallow, but fun. Where the game really tanks is within its bugs and its frustrating collision mechanics. Firstly, the game is designed extremely poorly when using a controller. The amount of times I've had to spam a button for it to recognise my prompt is frustrating enough.

Objective markers are even more wonky, though. My last 3-4 hours were spent trying to just figure out what to do because the game's objective markers would disappear. After wasting three runs, I was absolutely vivid. I got to my warp gate and died a split second before teleportation, because my health was rapidly degenerating. Why? Who knows. No matter how careful you are, every little niggle just tears your car apart.

And three times now I've tried warping a car that got stuck to the road, only for it to be flung across the map 500m.

If I had played the game on release, I would have forgiven these bugs. But it's been nearly two years since, and this game is not polished. It's one of the most unpolished games I've ever played. Even MH Wilds was less frustrating than this.

It can be a fair bit easy at times, but Dishonoured is one hell of an experience. The aesthetic, attention to detail, world building, C&C and ability to tackle each situation differently makes Dishnoured a truly captivating experience. The game does have some very small flaws, such as questionable story arcs, dumb ai and the fact unconcious ai die too easily; though the biggest one is the imbalance between a lethal and non-lethal playthrough. The combat leaves a lot to be desired, and the stealth never reaches the height of something like Thief or even Splinter Cell for that matter. Nonetheless, I'm merely nitpicking. Probably one of the best game of this decade so far.

7.5/10

Ahh.. Skyrim. One of my most played guilty pleasures of all time. The graphics, especially in 2018 with mods, are superb. The sense of wonder and excitement as you trail through vicious landscapes and derail mildy amusing dungeons. The core rpg mechanics are always fun, whether you are a summoning mage or a sneaky thief (my go to), wailing your two handed hammer around and about causing a whirlwind of savageness and fusorahing enemies off a cliff, you're bound to have a good time. The game gives you an incredible sense of freedom and it's a blast to play. My playtime in total is well over 400-500 hours accross many platforms.

But the game is shallow as hell at the same time. No choices and consequences; the guild system is designed so you can do everything you ever want on one character, which means your just following markers around and not having to think at all. Without mods, the game is just empty and bland. It's incredible at immersion and it controls like a dream, though despite my countless hours wasted on the game, it will never reach the height of morrowind. Each Elder Scrolls has dropped significantly in quality.

So I don't recommend this game. At the end of all my hours, I still think it's just ok. A solid 5/10, but buy it anyways. You were going to buy it nonetheless so just do it. Just know the game was almost a masterpiece, and we should remind Bethesda what makes a great rpg before they casualise the next installment so hard is slips through our lips and down our throats without our consent.

You may be wondering how I could have put so many hours into a game and still be negative; Your answer is Mods.

Mods compeletely change the game. Whether is fresh new lore-friendly content (such as AHO or Legacy of the Dragonborn), thief mods that allow creators to simulate great sneaking mechanics, the incredible perk systems you can choose from or magic rehauls, the game is constantly evolving; I could go on and on.There are genious mods such as SkyrimSouls which allows you to pickpocket and read books without the game pausing (allows you to watch the time of the scenery flow by or creates situations where you have to move quickly to pickpocket targets walking or hide to change spells and sneak), and mods to fix basically anything anyone without a smart thought would think of. Modrim is a completely different game. It's a community, an experience and an exceptionally good time.

Klei are truly an awesome developer. A fresh spin on an old genre, masterfully blending stealth and tactical gameplay seamlessly. Has roguelite elements which don't hold the game back, only further enhance the overall experience. RNG can play a small role, but any good player can think stragetically and efficiently to overcome any situation the game throws at you. Thus, the game has a very well balanced learning curve and customizability; allowing newcomers to not be overwhelemed at the mind boggling engame, where every choice matters, and allow veterens to still find brilliant experiences to come back to. Well worth the price.

If you're happy playing an interactive South Park episode, it's very well written and seriously funny. If you're after deep RPG mechanics, look somewhere else; as Stick of Truth is merely a Paper Mario clone... albeit a very good one.

Awful attempt at recreating the previous developer's fun blend of shooting and construction. The maps are bland, the servers (at the time I played it) were inexcusably poor, and the overall vibe was bland to the max.
