I thoroughly, deeply miss this game.
I remember the late nights upon discovering it with my best friend, putting in more hours than could be considered healthy because it was genuinely that much of a fun experience.

The playerbase was active, the game was receiving updates regularly and was rich with content. The game was stable, and the gameplay loop was fun and engaging - thanks to a great pre-game lobby and a fun (and horrifying) minigame while waiting to be revived.

Then came the horrible updates... and then came the silence.
The engaging pre-game lobby was removed, alongside an overhaul to the matchmaking system that (I am not kidding) removed the option to invite your friends into a lobby. Multiple maps had horrible performance, especially the new one. The cosmestics got worse and felt more like cheap cash-grabs than passion pieces - and each time the players cried for attention to the things that broke or were received poorly, those cries were ignored and replaced with more cosmetics.
Then, after horribly mismanaging the community and their own game, MOB decided to abandon this game until further notice to continue working on their single player experience. There have been no updates since.

This game could still flourish. There are still dedicated fans (like me) who wants this game to receive some much needed updates, and a fresh breath of life, to make it worth my time again.
Bring this game back to how it was before Phase 3, that's all we ask. You had something perfect, that we truly enjoyed, and you chose to take that away - but you can give it back again.

Until the day this game receives the love from it's developers that it deserves, I cannot recommend it.

Ridiculously fun, while still challenging, with friends.
Horrifying, yet mesmerizing, alone.

"GTFO" stands out as one of the top 3 co-op shooters I have ever played. Everything about this game is masterfully crafted to perfection, by a clearly hard-working and dedicated team.
Although there will not be any more content released for this game going forward, that honestly does not take away from it. The game is so packed with content already that you easily have hundreds of hours of replay value.
The environment you enter in "GTFO" immediately draws you in and keeps you immersed. The stealth mechanics are smooth, responsive, and add a fantastic level of terror - aswell as a strong reliance on teamwork. Some kills are impossible to perform stealthily without a steady teammate.
The sound, atmosphere, and general feel of the game is stunning. If you like sci-fi horror and co-op shooters, this one is absolutely your jam.
Like with most of these games though, best enjoyed with friends you can both goof around with - but also work closely together with in tense situations to achieve victory.
There is no difficulty scaling. The missions are designed to be brutal and test your limits - so get your teammates and gear up, this is gonna hurt.

Overall, this game is a must have for any fan of both horror and co-op games.

At this game's current state, I'd say it's worth it on sale. It had a rough start, but through lots of work and optimization, it has become a very enjoyable experience in the Warhammer 40K universe. Make sure to install it on a drive of decent speed though, loading times will be bad on a HDD.

"Oh boy, I can't wait to get lots of good loot and have fun with my friends!", I said.

I then proceeded to get unconsensually touched by 18 of the greasiest, most diabolical creatures known to the world of the living

A short but sweet Backrooms game. Compared to others on the market, the amount of content is remarkably less, but the content that is available is extremely well made and feels very well developed.

A good hero shooter in this modern age? Impossible (you'd think)!
Truly a testament to what happens when a developer sets out to make an actually fun game with a major IP.

A ridiculously fun, mesmerizing and simultaneously thrilling experience in the Outlast universe. I am deeply impressed by how well the Outlast single player experience has been captured and transported into a replayable co-op multiplayer format.
If you're thinking about getting this game, but have been putting it off, I highly recommend this purchase.
