I would recommend Hades 1 if you like a hybrid blend of an action roguelite game plus visual novel for downtime. The only real caution I have is to expect a brawler focus for Hades 1 & Hades 2 being more cast-plus magic-centric. Playing the sequel certainly helped me realize this game has a prearranged format it tends to stick with to make some fairly predictable runs, although part of the fun is getting better to the point you climb into the high heat tiers once clearing your first run. Certainly can appreciate that Hades 2 has some more variety (some wildly stronger than others as in 1, albeit can be run-defining beyond god keepsakes guaranteeing a god in the god pool of 4). I would highly recommend looking into the community online, as in other roguelikes, learning what works well requires a fair bit of trial and error, although you can certainly learn a lot more by doing some research into great run synergies plus using the codex to sculpt your blessing choices. This becomes a lot easier with the inclusion of rerolls once enough keys have been invested into the Mirror of Night. A basic tip anyone could use since it's often skipped past: select the toggle of the skills in the Mirror of Night to show a green alternate of the standard (these can be really helpful compared to their standard counterparts; pick and choose). Also, don't be afraid of handing out some nectar plus ambrosia; you get a keepsake the first time and even a usable summon for select characters you meet. You will have plenty of resources the more you play to open up options plus complete prophecies (gameplay milestones and/or challenges). As in most of these games, getting a run through the first couple of times will be the toughest aspect to start, albeit there's a lot to enjoy once you can upgrade enough to clear your first run. Hades 1 hits well for me despite not having much of an interest in roguelikes typically, although SuperGiant certainly knows how to make a great format of it, which I find is just overall further refined in Hades 2.

A fairly fun experience that tends to be best with friends or voice chat to coordinate better. Some random games can be pretty enjoyable if you use pings plus coordinate your movements together. My only main complaint is a lack of a duo mode as of now, but otherwise its a fairly well done solo (admittedly the most difficult short of bad team work at full 3 nightfarer scaling) plus scaled reasonably well to not need a perfect maxed out run everytime short of the really high level end game added later on to expand the gameplay loop.

Doesn't work to launch at all. Kernel level anti-cheat, manually have to remove it and a doubleblauncher integration that makes this even worse to try launching. Yeah your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up if you think I give thiefs further money. You're treating a paying customer like a criminal.

Honestly lives up to the base game. It definitely is not easy but given the context of what you're doing here as a Tarnished of entering a land ravished and abandoned by Marika whom most of your power comes from, that certainly fits. If you want to have a more reasonable time gather scadurtree fragments plus ashes, especially if you're on a new game cycle, the buffs they give are made to balance a new plus older high level character coming into the dlc. As someone who thoroughly explored the base game, got every ending, and did npc side quests really liking what I'm seeing. I will recommend also you try to interact with the npc's because they can be locked out of should you progress the dlc's story too fast (there will be a very obvious initial warning and it should be rather clear what the final point of no return is).

A great ARPG that really lets you live a necromancer and summoner playstyle rather well. Minimal complexity with high respec potential allows you to rather easily play the game. Only thing you can't respec is your mastery (second half of passives tree) so keep that in mind when you get to that point. Otherwise beyond my main complaint being performance primarily from online play stability can't say I dislike much in the game besides waiting for some more content come next cycles in anticipation.

Being honest besides the first few times this is only really a neat challenge game mode. The bow is completely redundant with the Harran Ranger and Hellraid bow having options for a bow that is craftable and its arrows variants. The only reason I played through was to get the achievements primarily and the Mask which seemed neat. I'd only get it in the Definitive Edition otherwise I wouldn't have bothered.

Honestly one of the best bundles in the game hands down. The outfit allows you to replicate Logan from Dead Island 1 just better. It always boomerangs a thrown one handed weapon. Not to forget the dawnlight can one shot volatiles. Sword of Night is also pretty cool for having a night damage buff and glowing. Crossbow is nifty albeit you will need The Following albeit that problem solves itself if you get the Definitive Edition.

Do you want an op silenced pistol that uses normal pistol ammo (not subsonic) and rifle? Here ya go.

Used the weapons (baton) up until I got last hope (from the Dying Light docket). Would recommend to most since they're practically speaking the best one handed weapon available to a new player especially early on.

Basically gives you a crafting recipe to craft a bow you would normally just have to complete the entirety of the Bozak Horde and its challenges to get. Wildly op early game and lets you get elemental arrows to play with via minimal challenge. Great if in definitive edition and even then would recommend if you want an easier time should need be.
