I do not recommend. This is infuriating to the max. I might not be the best at board games or strategising, but with this much RNG even fledgling tactics are nullified. The NPCs go around murdering each other and the player, and I haven't seen any attempt by them to go at the King. At no point but one was I ahead, nor was I getting somewhere, as all my actions were undone by the NPCs, the King, or the dice. That one time I did get into the castle grounds, I survived three guard attacks and two NPCs, only to fight the king who had, besides his 4pt Rot advantage, his damn items of which I had no idea. So I managed to roll one piercing damage to take him down on his final stand, and took about 12 damage through and was promptly obliterated. And the game was won by some dumb bear with a whopping 4 Prestige.

This game lets you to plan and choose your actions carefully and then sucker punch you with a big flashing 'THAT JUST HAPPENED!' banner floating over.

Edit: The game is nice to look at, I give it that, but the fog of war conceals all the pretty things the minute you try to zoom out of the fur of your avata.

Very entertaining! I love the writing, and the action is well coordinated. The tiger scenes were splendid!
