none of your choices matter at all. this should've been a movie. waste of time.

You should only play this game if you like RPGs and don't care or don't pay attention to the story.

The story is infuriating and the characters are annoying and genuinely stupid. The first problem is that even though the detectives don't want the characters to get involved, the smart thing to do would be to wait for a foggy night and show them that they can enter the TVs and that the people showing on the midnight channel are the one's being killed. If you show someone something that seems so impossible and they can do it too, they'll almost always believe the weirder stuff you tell them, and then the police can take it from there and probably find the killer better because they can send in more people and they are trained.

The characters are easily the worst part of this game. The characters you play know that if they don't stop this threat then the entire world will come to an end. And yet all they ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ care about is their relationships and unimportant personal problems. I'm sorry senpai doesn't love you, but the entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ world is gonna end unless you do something to stop it and that's really what your worried about? Also if you can't stand UwU senpai talk, play this on Japanese dub. The English dub is super annoying.

This game also glorifies pedophilia and brushes sexual assault off as a gag. There are multiple instances where one character sexually assaults another for gag and it's played off as a joke. The offender literally doesn't see any consequences. Not even a slap on the wrist. Everything is normal between the offender and victim in the next scene. There's also a job you can take as a hospital janitor where a adult women creeps on you and very blatantly wants to ♥♥♥♥ you. Keep in mind you are playing as a highschooler that's not even a senior. She also doesn't get any consequences, in fact the game wants you to play into it. The dialogue options include, ignore it and do nothing, or actively partake in the pedophilia. And guess what? You get rewarded for playing into it. Your social link increases with that character.

The fighting game is fun.

Anyways if you want to play a better RPG play Yakuza like a dragon.
