I started this game on the Playstation 3 about 6 years ago. I completed about one third of the game at the time and left it as I had gotten my first PC. It is now that I have finished the game after buying it just two days before this review. It feels great to finally have finished this game.

No matter where you go, no matter which direction you choose to walk, you'll be able to find a quest or an interesting destination. Playing this game from start to finish is a great experience with characters that have personality and their own stories. Why is this game considered to be the best Fallout? It's the storytelling and the reputation system. Instead of reputation being a negative to positive scale, it is a 4 point system that allows for a more in depth reputation system (what I'm trying to say is that instead of just good or bad, you can be a really good guy with some bad moments or a really bad guy with some good moments, It's intuitive because it's not like people will forget your bad moments among your career as a hero). Would recommend one thing, Download a performance enhancing mod that also is said to prevent crashing, because this game will crash at random moments for no reason (however I did notice that 33% of the time the game crashed after going into a loading zone (basically just pressing "e" on a door).

I can't describe what I like about this game, there is a certain air to the art style, voice lines, and the gameplay that sells it for me. My favorite class based shooter (and yes I do own OW) by far. Rest In Peace Rick May, You Magnificent Bastard.

While The Game Does Have Some Matchmaking Issues (i.e. Getting put against people who are smurfing) The Core Gameplay Is Well Done. It Gets The Message Across That It Is A Realistic Shooter And Lead To Some Really Memorable Moments With My Friends. I Keep Coming Back To This Game Because Of All The Great Moments I Have Had With My Friends And Of All The Moments My Friends And I Will Keep Making.
