You know I love this game so much, one of the best FPS sand box games I have ever come across. I have spent hours making WWII collections for this game. From the Western Front and soon to the Pacific Theater of WWII. I get to pick and choose what vehicle, weapons, aircraft mods I want for what era thanks to all the amazing Steam Creators. I can't wait to start a WWI era.

This game has one developer so I know this creator has worked very hard on this and for what he has done this is amazing considering it isn't a team working on this but one person!... Just amazing!

However despite the fun with the endless creativity and mods this game has one serious issue. That the bots are straight trash on the team you are on and very OP on the other. I have tried to save my configurations for my WWII Battles but every damn time I try to balance it out I get destroyed. So I was like well it must be the mods. So I got rid of them. Tried another game, got destroyed. Checked the difficulty said "Easy" so I tried again and got destroyed. Did this many many times testing out every way I could to balance the game out.

I spent hours upon hours tweaking my configurations so I can just load my WWII era game up and away I go! But I can't I have to tweak it every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time to give myself an upper hand when I would really like it to feel balanced. YOU KNOW LIKE SO IT FEELS LIKE AN ACTUAL EVEN FIGHT NOT ONE WAY FOR EITHER SIDE! This is NOT even for my WWII mods I tried the base mechanics and it's still a slog. It's like rubbing your nuts against sand paper.

The times I do win it goes like this list below
Step 1: Get bots to join your squad
Step 2: Have you and bots get in APC or Tank
Step 3: Hold flag, major advantage point, or spawn kill...
Step 4: Sit there wipe out the enemy team as they walk at you like a bunch of headless chickens
Step 5: You win!

Sounds great right wrong.... If I want to go destroy everything in sight and not use a single brain cell I would hop my lovely Doom Games also not saying there is no strategy to Doom but I can sit back and tear demons up relax while doing it. But here every possible strategy and balance is thrown out the window against you. Forcing you to use very annoying tactics.

On here I feel like I'm constantly getting bent over and shafted by the enemy team and then shafted in the face by my team for being dumb. There is no damn balance and strategy. I thought well maybe I'm just garbage. So I looked to online to see if I'm the only individual who noticed this. Well thank god... Because I was not the only one who thinks this is very annoying, not fun, and is an issue. It reminds me right now of Star Wars Battlefront but make my team AI swamp rat level IQ and give the enemy force abilities Albert Einstein IQ.

Like I honestly have never wrote a review this long before and put this much thought into it. Reason why is I seriously love this game so much that's why I have such and issue with it. I know you as a individual can take out like 10-20 bots so the game favors them to balance so you're not a one man killing machine... But seriously there should be an option in the menu or in the configuration to change this when you want! My team can't hold a damn point if there life depended on it, my team shoots like stormtroopers, my team drives into walls, my team can't defend or go on offensive while the enemy team can, me team stands out in the open getting azz blasted. LIKE... I feel like I'm playing a fu**ing beta test...

I love this game so much. But I have never ever played a game where it was this bad and unfortunately I love this game.
I hope this one day gets fixed or someone makes a mod that allows you to balance the ai where you can change it so I don't have to constantly change my configurations or have the AI butt slam me unless I do really really mind numbing battle tactics with Tanks or APCS or shift the configurations where I steam roll them.

Overall despite my love for this game this game I have to give it a 5/10 right now. Literally just has to do with the bots. It is that bad. If you are looking for a strategy game where you have to think but it's also balanced this is not for you. If you like doing very repetitive tactics to kill the masses doing the same 3 things 100 times over than you will like this because as much as I don't want to say this if you want to win that is what you will have to do.

This game has a-lot of issues that needs fixed. But Gahhhdamn so far it's amazing. I can't wait for the full release good job to the developers very impressed. Side note I could actually win a game. Since 2007 I could never win a game since the ai was way way to hard and OP. Thanks to the newer version I could actually win and stand a chance. Keep up the good work.

You ever make the mistake to fart because you needed to get that gas out but then realized that you just sh*t yourself because you pushed too hard and it wasn't a nice fart to begin with but rather a turd waiting to slip out!?
Well that's what this game is a fart that you thought would make you feel better but instead you sh*t yourself.

This game is amazing for it's time. I have played this game more times than I can remember since I was 6 I am 19 now. I will tell you without nostalgia syndrome that this game has not aged very well but in a way it has too. As someone who has put over 120 hours in this game on Steam and even more through out my life I will tell you to get this game over and over.
Although it has not aged very well in some ways it is still a very unique game and out of all the RTS and RPG games I have played (Because that is what I mostly grew up and still play) this game sticks out like a fine wine that I fondly remember.
I recommend this game to all my friends and people out there try this game it is worth it.

Also if you do happen to get this I will warn you that multiplayer is disabled thanks to steam. To unlock and play it put in "zonematch=true" in launch options you can find in the games settings in Steam library. You will also need to get a LAN network I recommend Hamachi I have used it to play with my family members on this game and other games as well and can tell you it works great. Have Fun!

As a child this game made me grow hair on my balls. I remember firing this game up on my fathers old computer when I was just a little turd. What has impressed me the most is the fact that back in 2005 when I first played this game is that it still holds up very well in standards of graphics and gun play. Although this is the black sheep of the Doom Franchise I recommend anyone to at least try this game out as it was one of the most anticipated games of the early 2000's.

So I would just like too say this DLC is a new refreshment over Ubersreik and Castle Drachenfels. For many of the people complaining I don't know, why. Some say because their is no new weapons, and other say because their is no dwarves. Well first of all their is new weapons, pickaxes and a shimmed swords. Then the people saying their is no dwarves. Well thats "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" because on half of the damn missions their were dead dwarves everywhere. Also you talk too a dwarf on a certain mission, not going too spoil it. Also it's a new sight over a dark, cloudy, rainy cities and castles. All the missions take place in snow or in temples. So the people saying their is no new view of the land, thats stupid of them because their is. Also I like how people are complaining about meeting a live dwarf or whatever, but yet not a single person will complain about how, Ubersreik and Castle Dranchenfels you didn't meet a single person, you "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" hypocrites. So for the people complaining about those things I say too you do your research or actually look around... Thank you for reading this review
