Phenomenal game, full of interesting well thought out puzzles.
The greatest aspects of the game are the almost non-existent hand-holding, the hidden lore that you can piece together and the raw display of a war torn country that shows the atrocities humans are capable of.

The combat is good, albeit not the highlight of the game for me. There's a variety of enemies but not that big.

Clear game of the year 2025.

Where to even start with this game.
Music is phenomenal. I would even compare it to NieR.
Gameplay is a mix of classic turn-based JRPG but with actual skill involved, which can make the game as easy or as hard as the player wants. You're not locked into a difficulty for any achievement.
The Lumina and Pictos systems allow for an insane variety of combos and game-breaking strategies.
Story is very thought out, not predictable and leaves space for potential future content while ending in a satisfactory note.
Graphics and presentation are VERY good, while also not being way too taxing even on an old machine.
Almost every area and cutscene are like a painting.

And what's even nicer is the game respects your time. It takes about 35-40 hours to finish if you don't do every little thing/boss. Took me 60 hours to 100%.

Do yourselves a favor, don't look anything up and dive in.
Should be the standard for quality + price.

Artificially limiting who can play the game, by not allowing GTX 10 series users from running it, when 10 series cards can play every other 2024 game perfectly fine.

Really chill fishing game and highly moddable.
