We all have our favourite Battlefield. Since 2002, we've had fourteen iterations of Battlefield and those following the series have chosen their best above all others, myself included with BF2.

Whilst the order is little confusing, considering, Hardline, 1942, 2042, 2142, 1 then 5, etc, kind jumbled up, we've finally arrived at Battlefield Six.

It has all you'd expect out of a normal battlefield game, that you know and love, however... EA and Dice are trying to copy Call of Duty, with small maps, REDSEC Battle Royale esk version of their War etc, even the hud is close to copying them and so with that, a lot of CoD players came over and found nice easy kills with their aggressive play style.

The maps are varied from Close Quarters to all out plane and tanks, with challenges, both daily and weekly, it's not the same for someone like me, who just liked the basics and not all this fancy, money grabbing store stuff, just to look good or bad as some cases maybe. Sure we'll have roaming chickens and bob the builder costumes any day now sadly.

Do I recommend the game though. Yes.

At it's core, Battlefield is still there.... however, just like most things though, change has come and not all for the better.

Paid for four plot early access - now punished with a "Subscription" model if I want to use them.

Runescape Dragonwilds is a fantastic addition to the survival game market. It’s a perfect blend of adventure, strategy, and cooperative game play that keeps you coming back for more. Whether you’re a seasoned RuneScape veteran or a newcomer, there’s something here for everyone. I can’t wait to see what future updates bring to this already amazing game! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a thrilling survival experience!

At 7.1k roughly now, doing the core level, but my biggest issues is how some levels are mediocre to break, expected even, some are incredibly hard and with someone like myself who has arthritis in my hands, holding down the mouse button to click such levels - is insanely painful.

But do I recommend the game or not.

In truth, I'm still on the fence. The more you play, the more time you need to actually PLAY and I know that sounds weird. For an idle game, the idle part often seems missing towards the end. You have to keep the mouse button pressed. You have to click the worms, especially those golden ones that help boost money for skills on your companions and to hit Diggy to 150+ and beyond.

For now, I am going to change to a positive and recommend it.... but as I said, I'm on the fence.

Whilst I recommend that game, I have reservations.

In of it self, plenty of exploration, missions, pew pew, keeps you playing well past the initial two hour timer. The ship building is engaging, though resource collection is problematic with a trade system that can be confusing for a time.

However, the developer's are lazy. They've introduced quests, but it feels like they just didn't care about you, the player. Quests can come in thick and fast, but many are very limited in information, leaving you perplexed as to what to do. Many have marker locations, go here pings. Yet, when you get there, you land your team on the planet.... and nothing. You go back to the ship, with no update or additional information, due to a poorly designed system, that you need to do A, B, C and can't explore to do E, F G, because you missed D.

I want to give this game such a high rating, but sadly, even when visiting their discord, help just isn't there.

Twenty Two hours at time of writing this and I'm in limbo. I'm exploring but finding nothing now. I'm checking flashing markers, taking with factions and races and just feel like, picking my belly button fluff, would be a more useful use, of me time.

Purchase at risk and only on a steam sale. Maybe you can get further than I.

It’s great to see a game that encourages players to adopt a unique strategy, like focusing on selling items instead of hoarding them at the start. That approach can definitely foster a more engaging experience and lead to a deeper understanding of the game mechanics as you push forward, opening up it's many features.

The paywall situation can be off-putting in many games, but it's nice that this one rewards patience and strategy. Idle games often excel at letting players progress at their own pace, which can be very satisfying. Plus, the retro MMO feel adds an extra layer of nostalgia that many players appreciate.
