A "modern reimagining" is, evidently, the worst thing you can ever do to a series. I really hope this kind of disaster never happens to something I like again, but I'm sure it will in time. An intellectual property should never be handled by people who don't care about it, and yet that's exactly what happened.

I will spare you the essay-sized review I could easily write and instead be as succinct as possible - this is one of the biggest travesties of a remake in the entire history of gaming.

Absurd "delisted" scams like these are why piracy exists. You can't even Remote Play with this title anymore.

Other than this port being comically bad - just like everything else SEGA has ruined in the past decade - with restoration mods, this game is just as fun as I remember it being.

Puyo Puyo and Tetris are fundamentally incompatible with each other, and this "sequel" is no exception. They were really stumped and grasping for straws by throwing Sonic the Hedgehog of all things into the mix. I am sure by the third installment in this series that the total erasure of Puyo Puyo's identity will be complete.
