This review is mostly about the story in the game. I liked the puzzles, they utilized the third portal well and were fairly challenging, and I enjoyed the music and voice acting. Overall I'd recommend this game if you're a Portal fan, but I'm gonna be a bit critical towards the story. Minor spoilers ahead.

The story suuuuuucks.
I'm sorry if that's a bit blunt, but yeah, I really didn't get anything out of this plot.
Maybe it's just me but I'm getting tired of seeing the same story beats in every popular Portal 2 mod. Being awoken from stasis between P1 and P2, vague references to GLaDOS, Chell, and Chell destroying GLaDOS, and an elevator ride to the surface that fails to capture the sadness of the Portal 2 ending. I've seen it in Aperture Tag, I've seen it in Portal Stories: Mel, and now I've seen it in Portal Reloaded. At least with the other two there was an interesting story with memorable characters, for some reason in Portal Reloaded we get the Announcer from Portal 2. You know, the voice with the least personality in the Portal universe, who's probably not even self aware (though for some reason they did anthropomorphize him in this game, which felt out of place for him).
I don't know if the story was meant to be a big selling point of the game. If it was, then I feel that not enough effort was put into it. If it wasn't, then I think the mod could've done without any plot at all. The puzzles were interesting on their own, the story didn't add anything. The ending(s) felt rushed and uninteresting, which is a shame since that's usually the highlight of Portal campaigns. I was really looking forward to seeing how interacting with Chell in Portal 1 and trying to thwart her would play out, and was quite baffled to find out that the game just ends before that happens.

To conclude, I feel that what I liked about the game (namely the puzzles) outweighs my feelings about its story, which is why this review is marked positive. But as a fan of the Portal lore I'd say it was a bit disappointing on that end.

TV told you ZeGame is just a game with blocks that you move around and try to get into a blue block.
TV lied, man.
This game is a whole lot more than you think it is. It has everything you need and want. Lots of interesting mechanics? Check. Level editor? Check. Difficulty? Check. Beautiful backgrounds? Check. Awesome music? Check. Post-game mode? Check.
This is a game.
This is the game.
This is ZeGame.
