From Soft really thought they could release Elden Ring 2 and pass it off as a DLC thinking nobody would notice.

Climbed an Ogre and kicked it in the eye to death like it was a Bollywood movie, cried during the credits.
9/10 but 10/10 once the modding community pops off.
You don't have to buy the $2 micro-transactions, and they are literally useless, stop crying yourself to sleep over companies trying to make money, that's their job.

This game has a dark souls 3 world-feel, if the character design was from Blasphemy.
Story was great, the NPCs were good, level design was good enough. What REALLY made this game stand out, is the combat, specifically the melee/ranged(non-magic) combat. Cleaving enemies and trying out new weapons was more fun than ANY souls-like OR fromsoft game. It's just so meaty/fluid with fun combos. Every weapon-type has layers to it's move-sets, I never once felt like It was just light attack x2 or heavy once like I do when I play dark souls games, and you feel much more inclined to block/parry vs rolling. The ranged combat is secondary as it comes in your off-hand, but it all scales well with your attributes, and the ammo system refreshes at your bonfire so you don't have to do crappy crafting just to play with a bow, and you get enough refills and I spammed them and never ran out.

The story isn't a 10/10, the level design isn't a 10/10, but the combat IS a 10/10.
8/10 overall rating, Lies of P andies think that story > gameplay but nah.
