10/29/2025 implemented the "anti save scum" features that break basic saving/quitting, so if you pick it up for only a few minutes then close and come back to it later - it counts as save scumming and purposely ruins your run.

The AI in "Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing" is better than the garbage in this game. Even the Mechanicus wouldn't use them for servitors. If you don't have a constant group to play with - do NOT bother with this game. Makes sense that they'd not fix any of the incessant issues, afterall they'd get more money out of trying to get two more people to buy a buggy game with cosmetic skins rather than fix game play issues that have been recorded, posted, and ignored. AI teammates that stand there and do nothing, won't use skills, and you can't even choose what the AI class is if you do the PVE modes.

Played this previously and while it was alright, it had some issues that I was hoping would be sorted out in the long haul. Now they've drastically changed up what the game was and artificially added time-wasters to, as far as I can tell, try and prevent most of the possible refunds that would happen from poorly thought out decisions.

As of time of writing I put in 111 minutes, with the first 15 fiddling with settings and controls. So just under 100 minutes of game time. During this I crashed 5 times. Three of which were during cutscenes, one while walking around, and a last while attacking an enemy. My specs are well past the recommended (i7-10700K, Nvidia RTX3070, more RAM than a sheep farm, and a PSU to match) so having graphics at medium should be fine. Looked fine, ran fine, then random crash. Bumped it down to low and that got me past the first 2 cutscene crashes but not the third. It randomly worked the following attempt though.

Honestly, after 5 - FIVE - crashes in less than 2 hours, I cannot recommend this game. Let alone at a $60 price tag. It feels half-baked and I can see where it'll one day be fun, but don't bother with it right now. I got lucky that the fifth happened at the 111 minute mark so I could refund it...

After being released in December to a raft of issues, including basic QOL such as being unable to remap all controls, it appears CDPR doesn't care. If one felt the need to go in and manually edit their control config files they can, but it's liable to cause issues still doing so. "Use" key for me is "E", and not being allowed to remap from "F" is ridiculous at this point. Couple with occasional - but not infrequent - random mouse sensitivity changes mid game makes for what could be a fun time, an unpleasant experience. I definitely requested a refund, no need to spend money on something that may look pretty but is not-so-pretty to play.

A glitter covered turd is still just a turd. Don't let the outward looks deceive you.

A fun relaxing single-player game that suddenly requires a 3rd party account and software to run after years of not needing it with the claim of allowing for better visibility of future updates. Thing is, the game hasn't been actively updated in quite some time and the story feels only 3/4 of the way complete. The only reason I can remotely see about suddenly forcing players to use third party logins, is for data mining. Laughably in the forum post dedicated to this "update" a member of 101xp tried to compare the game to Ubisoft and EA. There's a reason many individuals have those companies ignored, doing this just adds to the growing list of ignored publishers.

Enemies spawning directly behind you, constant condescending chatter and remarks in game (or when attempting to close the game), in game physics not working correctly or enemies phasing through objects to hit you, all are constant "features" in the game that should be fun. Let's not get started on trying to play on a server with friends either...

I've had to edit the pop up files for quitting and just turn off in game audio entirely because of snarky trader remarks. Nothing to be done about busted physics or crappy spawning. A decent game if on sale, but not at 30 USD

If you are a left handed person or have issues using the industry default of WASD and need to instead use a mouse for different functions such as crouch or moving - then don't bother getting the game. You can't change the mouse keybinds around without attempting to change the underlying source code as the option to change mouse controls in game was entirely removed. You can see a myriad of issues about this sort of thing in their bug forums and has been known since 2018. The devs have refused to allow basic keybindings so you're out of luck.

Don't bother getting the game, you'll spend more time trying to fight bad keybindings than the cannibals.

The friendly AI will randomly spaz out and stand still while being shot at or having enemies standing next to them, or decide to push half way across the map and get knocked down - forcing you the player to run through fields of fire in a vain attempt to save them. Oh but good luck actually "running" as it auto locks onto the nearest cover and slides you into it, typically on the side where it won't do ANYTHING to provide cover. Did you rescue them and want to make it back? Too bad, you can either walk back while being shot or attempt to run and deal with a autoslide that you can't turn off. When you are "in cover" like this, you have to either press your sprint key again to get out of cover or manually back up. Don't press and hold though, because you'll *instead* flip into other nearby cover.

Another fun one is when you clear an area out, then move back through it and watch the enemies respawn again in front of your face, so have fun dying and reloading whatever progress you might have made.

The game could be fun, but the AI and mechanics make it absolute garbage to play. I'm trying to beat it, but what should be a fun shooter is instead an aggravating mess of poorly implemented design choices and craptastic AI. If you want this, get it on sale of at least half off, considering how half assed the game itself is.

Do not buy this game if you intend to play for a solo campaign, it's not made for it and you WILL get frustrated at the utter malarky the game consistently pulls. It's rage inducing and decides to emulate a dark souls theme with no redeeming features of it.
