The game has a diverse sandbox of tools and movement to express your mechanical style:
Fast, flighty and impossible to pin down?
Or a slow unstoppable force not even a building can hold back?
Try combining gadgets with your team to get your human wrecking ball across the map in record time or lure an enemy team into a trap.

MW3's lack of movement sounds, boosted movement speeds, and TTK lower than human reaction speeds means a noncompetitive, frankly unplayable, mess of schizophrenically watching over your shoulder just to die to an enemy you couldn't react to.
Flank or be flanked.

Played back when it was on Origin, but I'm instantly banned when I downloaded to play on Steam.
There are no bans on my EA account.
I made 2 tickets and nobody has gotten back to me in 3 weeks.
Still banned.

It's great for its singleplayer strategic gameplay, but its multiplayer is just splitting up the singleplayer controls across up to 3 people, which slows things down for the most part. Also, you better have a shrine to RNGesus because the game is heavily dependent on RNG for the outcomes of almost everything. The game often becomes about mutigating the cost of failure and making contingencies.

I would only recommend PUBG if it's a game that you would want to play. It won't be a very good choice if you're just getting it on a whim.

Dead by Daylight (DbD) is a game that's pretty fun to play with friends and the altruism of random teammates tends to be surprising and heartwarming. Just... be ready to spectate your friends for long stretches of time. There is a lot of mastery available in the game with a high skill ceiling. DLC perks are obtainable without the purchases via in-game means, but the killers (with their unique abilities) are still locked exclusive to the DLCs.

A slow game to master, but satisfying when you accidentally headshot someone *on the other team.*

From 270 hours to 540 hours, I still hold this sentiment.

Okay, 1.4k hours now. This game is just strategically and mechanically deep. To reach the higher ranks, you need to learn how to play as a true team and the gunplay will be punishing. There's more depth than meets the eyes for every gadget.
Word of warning: Not really meant for a casual audience.

I've never really bothered to check the Steam movie selection. But, I saw "Zygote" pop up as, well, the only Steam news. I was intrigued simply because of the title and the fact that I'm a science nerd. I've only watched Zygote, Firebase, and RAKKA and I enjoyed watching them. (Well, Firebase just became science bullsh*t more than fiction, but a good twenty minutes of quality production.) My favorite was RAKKA because it set up the stage for much more content and the idea of Psychic Argonian overlords doing experiments on our bodies fascinated me.
