Bought the Elite version to get the headstart and because I loved the idea of the game. Was super excited to get into the game and get my friends on board. Didn't know it was getting released to gamepass for free and ultimately wasted my money. No crossplay at the start, and the game is attrocious when it comes to the solo grind (griefers, matchmaking was basically non-existant, leavers with a horrid fill system, etc.)

Forced to play the game on xbox gamepass just to play with friends. Get all the way through the season pass and get ranked up to Elite. Still no crossplay.

Then the company finally releases crossplay so I can get back to my Elite edition of the game (unable to refund due to the play time from the early access) with about 2 weeks left in the season. Unfortunately I am unable to complete the season pass a second time ... but they also add more rewards to the end of the season pass for those who built up the gems from the start. Also declare ranked rewards for season 1 ... have just enough time to mostly solo grind into Platinum (friends not really wanting to risk their elite ranks due to the horrid matchmaking, server instability, and griefers especially near the end of the season) ...

Left feeling like the company took my money (as one of those who actually paid them money) and just screwed me over every which way throughout this initial period. Would have been nice if there could have been a way to merge the progress or if they could have offered something for those in a similar position as I.

RANT over ...

The game itself is fun in concept. However, the disconnect between what a player sees and the game sees can be quite frustrating. Network conditions can be quite abysmal. Having a goal scored on you when you see your character catch the ball only to have it zip behind you into the next feels bad. Stabbing at the ball and chasing after it, only to have it zip back to the feet of the enemy team feels bad. Being between the ball and the attacker and losing priority for a block for whatever reason feels bad. This happens quite often.

Don't get me wrong, I know this post is filled with bitterness - but the truth is ... the game is fun when everything is smooth and working right (win or lose) ... and I will keep playing for now as they are actively trying to make the game better and deal with all the complaints I've mentioned (aside from customer loyalty) ... it just sucks when you feel slighted and disregarded. That's the reason for the not recommended, I can't stand by this company with how the experience has left me feeling.

I only have a few hours logged into the game so far, but I can honestly say this has become my current favorite game and is usually what I load up to both begin and end my day with (hopefully not dead). With that said there's a few things I'd like to see fixed myself.

1. Matchmaking can be horrendous at times. When queing for a game, constantly get the no network found error and it closes the game completely. If you do connect, you get kicked from your party and sent back to the home lobby about 10% of the time.

2. Keep consistent groupings. One thing I dislike is having to send invites after every game to friends I play with on the regular. If I play 20 games in a day, I have to make 60+ or so groups (due to the above, as its not just me these problems affect but my group mates also)

3. Latest patch penalizes Disconnects heavily. Usually that would be a good thing, but I had a game as a survivor earlier today where the killer disconnected almost instantly and we got the escape status screen. We got points for escaping, but I lost a rank pip due to not reaching a certain score. So if Salty Killers really wanted to just troll a group of survivors, they could just exit the game at the start and possibly cause them to lose rank. Maybe they dont like some of the offerings or survivor choices, who knows the mind of a killer?

And just as a preference, maybe a few emotes to communicate with your team. Currently the community has adapted a crouch spam as a way of getting attention and such. Maybe even a proximity voice ... and to balance it out a bit you could make it so that proximity voice / emotes can be heard by proximity killers.

I'd also like the ability to be able to have a group que as survivors and killers in the matchmaking. Randomize the killer if multiple people choose the role. Sometimes I want to be able to kill my friends (im such a good buddy) but dislike the idea of having to 1v1.

Cant even log in ... when they split the game it no longer recognizes my account and using the password to log in did not work. (I know for a fact it's correct because like a bad boy I wrote it down :-p )

To get my account back, I have to make a whole different account ... which requires you to create a new email address and verify it ... it really should not be that complicated.
