Ever since Patch 01.000.300 the game's performance has been ♥♥♥♥. I was running the game on 80+ FPS @4K with an RTX 4090 and a Ryzen 5800X. Since that patch I get maybe 50-60 FPS which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. The game became CPU-bound with one update and never recovered.

Update:
The Jello-like feeling was caused by engine lag when maxing out the graphics. Had a similar thing with Beat Saber when maxing out anti aliasing (8xMSAA). And no, it wasn't the FPS. I used fpsVR to monitor the performance.

So, yea. It's playable now.

It just work but in contrast to Bethesda, it actually does :D

Welcome to Steam, where people voice their opinions and you don't get to hide them. In all seriousness though, don't flame the devs, it's not their fault they have to cope with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ upper management. I'm sure most of them were thrilled to develop what was promised and got burned just as hard if not even harder than the players. They spent years of their life pouring blood, sweat and tears into code/systems that will now likely never see the light of day.

Right, so I've played through the main campaign or at least I think I did. Technical hurdles aside, the game is now in a state that is passable. While you can play it now using SteamVR with an Oculus Headset it still only kinda works, as it still shows Vive Wands instead of the actual controller type reported by the OpenVR API. This being said. It's a lot better now then when it launched.

The Good
+ Allows Oculus users to play in either SteamVR or Oculus API mode
+ Cool mechanics
+ Ok story

The Bad
- Game is too dark out of the box
- Increasing the in-game brightness slider causes the mission book to become unreadable in a lot of scenarios.
- Grabbing weapons doesn't work very reliably (often grabs the torch by accident)

I found the whole thing to be meh at best :/

I'm honestly blown away by the outstanding quality of this game. It's perfect for those who like challenging puzzles and great story telling.

I would honestly love to give a positive review for this game, but it has become a ♥♥♥♥-hole for everyone that actualy wants to play the game in Online Mode as it's supposed to be played.

Pros:

• Beautiful Graphics for a Game Released back in 2013
  
• One of the best multiplayer Racing Games, but you need the money to actually race against other players
  
• A very appealing story for Single-Player

Cons:

• Rockstar Games turned Online Freeroam into a Warfare Simulator
  
• Rockstar Games don't ban obvious cheaters, like Lvl 8000 Players
  
• Rockstar Games upped the prices for Cars, Planes, etc. but didn't adjust the values of SharkCards
  
• GTA-Online experience is either dominated by Tryhards, Griefers or modders

Conclusion
It certanly used to be a nice game, but in it's current state it's barley playable. RIP GTA-Online

Seit Version 1.0 von Unturned hat sich viel getan, grafisch wie auch Gameplay-technisch.

Pro:

• Starke Performanceverbesserung verglichen mit den alten Versionen
  
• Wöchentliche Updates, die oftmals neuen Inhalt mit sich bringen
  
• Verschiedene Schwierigkeitsstufen
  
• Skins für Waffen, Kleidung und teilweise auch Items

Con:

• Community Server basiert, was auch das ausnutzen von erhöten Berechtigungen auf dem eigenen Server ermöglicht
  
• Früher zumindest; sehr aktive Cheater-Community (dank BattleEye weniger geworden)
