Fun game to play with friends, its well worth the price.

It's chalk full of me and I love every second of it.

I've played this game for a couple of years now so I thought I'd sorta rehash my old review but not really. The game still has a vibrant modding community with a multitude of mods that you will definitely find to amplify your experience. The majority of my time playing this game is spent playing with my family both campaign and versus so I must relegate myself to speaking from a non-online orientated point of view.

The game has seen an upsurge due to the Last Stand update which has divided certain stratums of the community. It introduced quality of life changes and major additions such as PVP, animation reworks, and reintegrating the CSS weapons into normal play. This is definitely understating the fact that it added new survival maps alongside the 'Last Stand' campaign. The campaign is certainly an enjoyable experience with the finale being an hybrid of holding out, fuel runs, and rescue (but that's a given). the jockey can now ready a jump quicker now and spawning under shrubbery and trees allows specials to pounce the survivors much quicker than before. There are various gameplay changes I am iffy but whatever.

I enjoyed the update overall and I realize to finish off in that note is underselling my joy that this game a substantial update after nearly 10 years.

Edit 2-11-24: This game is still peak with a endlessly robust modding scene and gameplay scene that is endless either by yourself, family, or friends.
