- Variety & replayability

Reasons not to buy:
- No option for multiplayer matchmaking
- No option to fastforward bot actions on the board or during mini games, leading to boring situations (i.e. watching a bot swing across the minigame while you and the players have to wait - surely this could be sped up, they are BOTS)
- No option to play 1v1, required bots for vacant slots

Either allow less than 4 players, make bots faster and less boring to look at, or add multiplayer.

Also, no 21:9 support. It's 2025. Seriously.

Just be up front about charging for stuff. I'd rather pay 20 euros for a game than a subscription for a season pass.
Being deceptive about this on the page doesn't look good on Ubisoft's end. But it is ubisoft, so no surprises. ♥♥♥♥ company, ♥♥♥♥ practices.

You have choices, but they don't mean anything. If it's on a massive discount, get it. At full price, hell no. Mods make this game feel like a real game, even adds new quests and cut content - makes it worthwhile.

All the shops are the same (copies with different NPCs on top of it). You get to own your own shop, but you can't sell anything - it's just another retexture of a shop! People paid for that on PS5.

Even on hard mode it's easy. Just get potions and spam spells.

Classes? Never heard of them, they're just cut scenes.

Story is okay, but the lack of choices removes all engagement. Sebastian's quest line is literally better than the main story: personal involvement, opposing characters with tragic arcs, choices that actually make a difference.

6/10 - just because they nailed the castle and the music.

Just realised this came out in 2014 - certainly doesn't feel like it. Comfort game that I keep coming back to occasionally play.

I wouldn't buy it for 20 euros, but I would definitely recommend it if it were on discount.

Do you enjoy being cut down like a twig hit by a truck? Then this is the game for you.
Enjoy the first 10 hours having no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clue what's happening to you, while other people run past and laugh at your corpse. This game perfectly appeals to the deep-seated masculine urge to spread pure carnage.

WOULD RECOMMEND IF IT WEREN'T FOR BROKEN FUNDAMENTAL STORY MISSIONS
For 60 euros, I would not recommend this game at this time. The main story still requires the console to fix some janky stuff like doors not opening and NPCs not talking to you. If it weren't for the story issues, I would absolutely recommend this game. It is GORGEOUS, immersive and mysterious. The characters and story are well-written, but story missions not working (the core of the game) is not something everyone will want to fix.


PLAYABLE BUT JANKY, YE BE WARNED
As of 1.8, there are some things prospective players should consider: this game is JANKY AF. That's somewhat fine to me, but it may not be for others.

- Hard locks in main story due to door/NPC issues. You might need to go troubleshoot forums to figure out what is wrong with you game.
- Saves corrupt sometimes, erasing hours of play (nice!).
- Missions like Zalyssia, and NPCs like Richter at the Red Forest, are bugged to the point that objectives will fail even if you do everything correctly.

- NPCs are a mess, they:
-- randomly become aggressive
-- spawn behind you with, or in front of you (A-LIFE IS NOT FIXED YET), and will blast your face off without warning.
-- will headshot you THROUGH A SOLID CONCRETE WALL with a sawn-off shotgun shooting BUCKSHOT at 50m, while you the player, are unable to shoot through objects with a machine gun.
- Burers and poltergeists throw objects THROUGH walls (nice).

First hour or two is needed to get used to the controls, maps and mechanics. Then the game becomes quite fun but you'll quickly notice the loop is repetitive and lacks content. Combined with instability, being a rip off of Unrecord (that's why I thought I had seen it before and that this was the game), makes for a somewhat dissapointing package at this point in time.

Once again, totally taken aback. The choices I have had to make - why have you made them so hard?
