Got through just the tutorial to find out the game wasn't for me.
The story didn't grab me. They off the bat start throwing jargon around and everyone knows the stakes (even my character) but me.
Then some grey guy who is I guess the leader of an alien race that conquered earth came and took the 1 of 3 mcguffin and I was for some reason supposed to care.
There was mention of a wall at a few points and that we need all 3 of the balls to close it so I guess the wall is bad?
The game starts with an intro cinematic that explains what the races are and how we are the last hope and all that but explains none of the things that are going on as soon as the tutorial starts.
Then there were so many points where my character got to do some cool stuff. Wish I got to do cool stuff too :(

It WAS a fun game. But after the 1.0 release us servers are a buggy mess. It WAS a fun fps with fluid movement and a high skill ceiling and easy to pick up mechanics. It's NOW a wasteland where no one plays on the us servers and the devs have abandoned it. So if your coming in late the story is that the devs made a f2p game in EA and charged ~$10 per character or you could grind for hours.

Had a bit of fun fun in the early game. Got really boring when I reached the FOB. RIP MGS (not this trashy cash in).

So this game had a lot going for it. Good melee combat focus and some cool gameplay. But the devs took too many outlandish requests from some fringe fans and then the game started to decline. Now all you get is bot matches because they shut down the servers (they said they would stay up after they stopped developing the game). I want my money back.

So let me sum this up. bought the complete overkill pack. Got a bow skin. ♥♥♥♥ this game. ♥♥♥♥ Almir. And ♥♥♥♥ Overkill.
