Magic Pixel steered completely off the cliffside. They are actively doing whatever they can to make the game worse. They went all in on the AI slop, the entire game is dripping of it now. Even the old table arts that were good have been replaced by AI garbage and instead of mustering up some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sense, Magic Pixel is doubling down on it.
In the meantime engine bugs that have been present in the game for YEARS are still happening like lockers not locking properly and things that shouldn't be bouncy being bouncy as all hell. The game is free and somehow still not even worth the hard drive space and time.

I bought this thinking we could play co-op with my friends on Steam, but it turns out, even if you want to play on Steam with your friend on Steam, you still need an Epic account.

This game made me rage more than any other. The balance, the exploits, the ropers, the transition from the old client to the new one, it's all disgraceful. Avoid this piece of trash.

My theoretical analysis lecture was more intriguing and exciting than average gameplay of this game. It's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boring I'm at a risk of falling comatose from sensory deprivation while playing.
It's fun for an hour or so cause of the ridicolous voice acting.

10/10 would get stuck riding elevators for 20 minutes again

It comes as close to my perverted dream game as it can in today's game industry.
It's gory, bloody, grotesque, full of sadistic and brutal scenes of violence and rape.
Love it.

For real though, it's garbage. Even if it would be free, it still wouldn't be even worth your time you spent on it. I bought it as a joke, I had no expectations and turns out, the joke was on me, cause it wasnt even funny.
It's just a cavern with a dirtyground.bmp warped all around you as a wall texture - filled badly with generic zombies that are barely functional. Combat is barely existent, it's dull and unengaging.
I understand someone who picked up a programming language 2-3 months ago and learned how to make something like this might be really proud of it, but it's not a game, it shouldn't be on steam and it definitely shouldn't cost money. Sad thing is, Steam is filled with junk games like this.

I have spent about 8-10 hours running up and down in pitch black caves looking for the legs of a toy robot and pictures drawn by 19th century missionaries. I found barely anything, except for exhaustion, a lack of batteries, unaccessible areas and a lot of darkness.

I wouldn't say it's worth the price. It would be a cool free to play title, like the first one. Its exactly the same game, just newer puzzles.

Great game otherwise, you'll want to get it from unofficial sources.
But steer clear of the Steam version or any other that forces this Windows Live ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on you.

Been trying to fix it several ways, creating an account, signing in, messing with xliveless, etc. for about an hour now, no success.
Literally unplayable.

EDIT: After being convinced to give troubleshooting a second try, I downloaded it again. It won't even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ start up now. It gives me a fatal error right after I close the Social Club popup. All the solutions I've found online are differing from each other and none worked.
This ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing should not be on Steam in it's current state.
