Can't say this game delivered. Gear locking to the region ruins any sense of world progression. The "artifacts" you collect don't do anything you give a hoot about. Crafting mats like iron and gold are way rarer then the alpha, making weapon and armour crafting SUPES time consuming, but not fun. No way to build a base, as was promised back in the day, so no keep to build up and eventually rule from or use as a base of operations.

Just feels like a downgrade from the Alpha. If you still have the Alpha installed like me, play that. Much better. Hopefully mods can save this game.

Found a space rock that had turkey dogs and green water and yellow grass. Made a home there. The turkey dogs and me are at war.

I have over 2000 hours in Planetside 2, and about half if not of that time, if not more, was spent in a harrasser. Why? Because what other fps has that kinda vehicle gameplay? None! It's Planeside 2's biggest attraction for me, the ability to have a huge vehicle fight with tanks and air and ground units trying to obliterate each other in an massive confusing, death-from-every-side battle!

But in PS:A, I was baffled when the harrasser was somehow not able to climb a pretty normal jump from PS:2. I was super flabbergasted that there wasn't an armour only game mode to make use of that unique approach to BR games. I would think that would be an easy way to make a unique spot in this market.

Didn't play long at all but it sure did push me back into PS:2. Play that if you want awe inspiring tank line duels and air based dog fights. This game doesn't seem to care if they happen or not.
