Idk, I like the story. It feels refreshing to not be the center of attention 24/7.
I like Wuk Lamat, and I also think her Voice Actress does a solid job.
This feels more like people were expecting Shadowbringers or Endwalker kind of climax again.

Story viel zu Kurz, Die meisten Cutscenes auch eher meh. Gameplay eigentlich ganz gut mit dem Apokalypse Zeug, aber wieso sollte ich jetzt bis Apokalypse Stufe 40 grinden. Ich bin auf 17 und die Kampagne ist quasi zu ende. Das Ende ist komplett verwirrend und es wirkt einfach so als würde man mitten drin aufhören. Bin ehrlich gesagt für den Preis sehr enttäuscht. Hätte ich es nicht 3rd Party gekauft, würde ich es zurückgeben.

The game is fun if you can see past some issues.
The tutorial is rather long and if you're not that much into dialogues it can be a bit too long, I loved it but it depends on the person.
The keyboard controls are really wanky and I would recommend to play it with a gamepad. If you play with the keyboard you will need some time adapt to the rather unusal key layout (it's really weird tbh).
The AI is not very smart.

Other than that the game makes a heck load of fun so far.

I've made this review years ago saying , quote : "It's a great game and it brings a lot of fun, R* ofically allowed mods ! YAY ".

Don't get me wrong, GTA V and the whole GTA series is awesome and as hard as it is to give this game a negative review I just can't live without mods. Mods always have been an essential part of the grand theft auto community and it should all be ruined by the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ called "GTA Online". Not on my watch. R* can proceed doing this but I doubt that I will buy any title of them ever again.

Ich habe die Dayz Standalone jetzt nicht all zu lange gespielt habe aber immer den Verlauf der Neuerungen und Features verfolgt. Ich habe bei der Dayz Mod für Arma 2 bestimmt 1000 Spielstunden und habe sie geliebt besonders die etwas abgeänderte Version Dayz Epoch. Ich hatte mich auch am Anfang auf die Dayz Standalone gefreut , es wurde viele Feaures versprochen in regulären Updatephasen. Ich bin zutiefst enttäuscht von der Standalone sie bietet nach fast 1 Jahr für mich fast keine ersichtlichen Neuerungen und hat immernoch weniger Inhalt als die Mod. Warum wurde sich nicht von Anfang an darauf Konzentriert basis Spielelemente in das Spiel einzubringen wie Fahrzeuge, Basebuilding, Crafting ? Das Crafting wurde ja in letzter Zeit mitunter 'implementiert' aber ansonsten gab es leider immer nur Ramsch , zig Klamotten damit man auch immer gut gekleidet ist in der Zombie Apokalypse und diverse Kleinigkeiten. Ich hätte am Anfang der Entwicklung den Fo kus auf die Fahrzeuge und Waffen gelegt , danach angefangen Basebuilding zu implementieren und dann hätte ich mich um die "Kleinigkeiten" gekümmert wie gefühlte 40 neue Pullover und Jacken. In meinen Augen wurde der Fo kus auf die Falschen sachen gelegt und die Entwicklungszeit deutlich unterschätzt.


TL;DR (aus meiner Sicht):
Nach 1 Jahr kaum spürbare/sehbare Veränderung
Für meine Verhältnise kaum Spielinhalt
Verbuggt ohne ende(Alpha , ok..)
Lange Updatephasen mit relativ wenig inhalt

Fazit:

Dayz Epoch > Dayz > Dayz Standalone
