Only negative I have against it is that it isn't fully released yet. I will likely re-review this with far more hours, but I can't recommend this game enough.

It gets quite difficult, but also gives you the tools to train against those difficult monster attack patterns. The controls are smooth, all the pieces fit very nicely, and the gentle introduction to more complex mechanics and challenges keeps challenging you to do a little better next time!

Your difficulty moving through each run is decided by your own choices, everything feels fair game-play wise. The game-play loop in its entirety keeps me coming back to love just another few monsters--and then my greed breaks my heart :( I'll be giving quickplay a lot of love and gametime before I beat higher difficulties.

The story and atmosphere are a little strange, but they have such a charm to them, such detail in the world being slowly brought to light. You can't hardly throw a heart around in this game without unlocking more secrets, plus the music is perfect for these beautiful and strange bosses.
