it's really close to a recommend for me, but not quite getting there for full price.

The platforming at the core of this game is mostly fun and can feel satisfying, but it suffers from your character feeling a little too floaty and bouncy when you're not in your rolled-up form, which can make it annoyingly and unnecessarily hard to do precise movements.

The other main problem is that the map feels clunky and near-useless when it doesn't show you what direction you're facing and as far as I could tell you could not zoom in or out to get a better view. I spent way too high a percentage of my short time with this game (it ends extremely quickly if you just follow the story) just trying to find where I had to go next, and not in the fun, exploratory way.

Another minus is no rebindable controls, which is both an accessibility problem and a gameplay problem. My hands could juuust about handle the controller binds on an xbox 360 controller, but I wouldn't have been able to play for an extended amount of time without a lot of pain because of the awkward setup. Having the roll-into-a-ball button on right trigger and the magnet on right bumper, and the left trigger and bumper completely unused just makes no sense to me - My left hand was only used for the joystick when it could have been doing the magnet.

The game also suffers from a main story quest mid-way through that is boring and unskillful deliver-this-letter-to-lots-of-places busywork. This quest could have been great if the environment you had to navigate was more challenging, but none of the delivery locations were hard to get to, with almost all of them being accessible just by walking. They were, however, frustratingly difficult to locate due to the aformentioned map issues and them only being pointed out by a barely-visible coloumn of light that disappears when you get kinda close to it. When a game is as short as this, every quest should be exciting and punchy and this was neither of those things and did not deserve to take up so much of the total playtime of the main quest.

Some more positives:
- The sound design is lovely. The little pitter patter of bug feet, the talking noises, the boss sounds, and the music are all a delight to listen to
- The visuals are good, and the character models are delightful, though I found the depth of field effect very much a hindrance to gameplay and turned that off very quickly.
- The story and the message are nice to see. There is some great writing, and I giggled my way through the dialogues. The message of the game is extremely overt and unsubtle, but honestly I don't mind. It's nice to be encouraged by overt decolonial, anti-capitalist agitprop that isn't afraid to say that if you want the system to change you have to break ♥♥♥♥.

Overall, I wish there was more of the game and I wish what was there was a better experience, but I still had a decent time with it. If bugs make you squeal with delight and you don't mind playing a game that you can get through in one evening, you'll probably like this game. I wouldn't pay full price for it with what it currently offers. Get it on a half price sale or something.

Even better than the first one and the first one was incredible!

The gameplay is really really good. The additions to the game compared to the first one are interesting and exciting. The artwork is gorgeous. The voice acting is great. The music and sound effects are *chefs kiss*. The story and characters feel believable.

A lot of love has gone into this game and it is absolutely worth the asking price.

Thanks for another great game, team!

Beautiful game! If you enjoy music and enjoy action games, this one is for you. It's a real treat and something I've never experienced before. I was having a great time throughout the whole game. Some parts were a liiiite slow on pacing (mostly at the start), but on a whole it's a really well made game. A lot of love and skill went into this for sure.

Just beautiful! and surprisingly deep for how simple it appears to be. You can be all strategic or you can just chill out and have some fun.

A seriously awesome game. An improvement on Shadow of Mordor in pretty much every way. You owe it to yourself to play!

Beautiful and in-depth game. So much fun multiplayer!

The best part is how customizable the zombies are. You can even set them to not respawn so there's a finite amount on the map!

I highly recommend :)

I've always been impressed with this game. From the moment my friend first showed me it, I knew it's what I was looking for. A creative game, sort of like minecraft, where you can build movable vehicles IN SPACE. It blew my mind a few years ago when I started playing.

Since then, it's only gotten better and better. There have been so many amazing updates and features, and I have faith that this game will be an incredible package when it is finished.

The only negatives are that currently there are a lot of bugs (although the devs are faithfully squashing them as they go) due to their poor quality control pushing new builds.

All in all a great game, and one I can easily sink another few hundred hours into without getting bored. So excited for the full release!
