Vermintide 2 also got the Return to the Reik update for free in 2025, the DLCs of this game are not being sold, they barely reach a few hundred reviews, class DLCs are cheaper than in Darktide because nobody buys them and no one throws money for premium currency because you get the chance at some events or daily drops to get ''premium'' cosmetics and also the premium currency for free, while in Darktide you can only get premium currency with money.

Fatshark is using the profit from Darktide to continue the development of Vermintide 2. Darktide has more active players than Vermintide 2, this is the reason why this game it's free once every few years, because it's more dead than Darktide. They do not give a f*ck about Darktide and they are using it only to make money from selling skins, while this game gets more free updates with new maps, enemies, game modes etc., Darktide only gets more skins in shop ( a cosmetic set is around 20 euros in game currency ) and events in the current maps with charms and frames as rewards, the only free update we got in 2025 for Darktide was Bound By Duty which is basically arena mode, now we get class DLCs which are overpriced, sadly there are people wasting money on them too, Darktide is nothing else but the bank of Vermintide 2.

Review Update:
We got the No Man’s Land update in Darktide a few days later, it has the first event with free premium currency in rewards, I'm glad these devs are checking the reviews. I hope they continue working on Darktide without half of year breaks and this review to become wrong in the future.

It's like Hearts of Iron combined with Total War, or like Crusader Kings 3 with no nudes. The only bad thing is the manual battle mechanics, feels like the first attempt of making Total War Rome 2004 manual battle mechanics.

If TF2 and Minecraft had a baby, it would be this game.
It was fun in 2015 and the concept was new and unique, but everyone forgot about it because it wasn't an addictive game, it was more like playing it a few times until you got bored and then never touched it again.

The game is nice, but it's definitely not worth more than 10 bucks, there are few players and the game crashes sometimes.

A good continuation of the story, great graphics, the optimization is decent, the new content which is not related to cosmetics is always free, the bad things are: crashing at the most important moments, eternal loading screen, closing the sessions because of maintenance and there is no way to rejoin a public match after game crash.

For those who doesn't know what this app is, it's like DLSS, but better and is working with any video card.
I bought Lossless Scaling for Arma 3 and honestly I'm shocked, this app in combination with Arma 3 performance build makes the game so smooth, doesn't matter the FPS because the gameplay feels like you play with +60 FPS.
It works great on other games too, like Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2, but I recommend to search what settings need to be made for your components and the specific game if you want to have the best performance.
All game devs should thank THS, now more people can afford to play games with high requirements, old games that are not optimized for new builds and remote games.
Note that in some games the FPS counter doesn't show the real FPS you have when using this app, also you can't record while using this app.

Doesn't worth more than 10 bucks.
The content of this DLC is meh, the best things you get are 2500 Aquilas and the soundtrack.

The game is easy to learn and it's a good replacement if you are tired of games like HOI4 and EU4.
