Best pro tip for a beginner is probably just to give up on your first character at the lvl of 50 (Depends if it goes smoothly ofcourse) and try to get your second character to endgame (Atlas of Worlds)
Note: You will get addicted if you get to maps, so look out for that!

I recommend trying Path of Exile on this upcoming friday(Or whatever time it is for you), when the new legacy league launches or wait till the one playthrough launches "The Fall of Oriath" In late june or july :)
