If this game and my emotions were in a boxing ring together this game would win every time
I am a beaten mess after this, so in the end I was selfish - 10/10

This is probably the most fun I've had making things that sink or get blown up
Which is impressive considering that title previously went to Kerbal Space Program.
Seriously I can't build anything well but I have a blast doing it and learning the weird building methods was even more worth it.
Nothing says engaging quite like self built naval engagement
or space or air, whatever floats your boat ;)

Nothing says kerbal space program like spending hours building the perfect rocket to take your carefully designed buggy to the moon and having to abandon everything as you barely make it into orbit with no rover because it fell off and took half your rocket with it.
Succeed? Feel accomplished as hell
Fail? Nothing but hilarity
What more can you want?

400 hours playtime, I accidentally the game.

Fantastic game, with something I've rarely seen in these kinds of games, a higher starting difficulty.
For many it seems to be a turn off but for me it presents an extremely fun challenge where I have to use my brain from the getgo, rather than the established EXPAND EXPAND EXPAND and then everything slow down as it gets more complicated.
This coupled with the rising complexity of managing it all effectively and getting achievements later on makes for a thoroughly engaging experience.

Look no further than my playtime! It got to 50 hours before I'd even got to the second of the three planet types.
All in all, fantastic, exactly what I was missing from my gaming experience.

My only complaint is being unable to pan the camera up or down and being unable to zoom in or out more, nothing a really basic mod or update couldn't fix with ease

As this was a game from my younger years, I found this thoroughly enthralling. The lore and dialogue is sometimes.. ok a lot... heavy, although this is not important at all when you can skip pretty much anything. I think this game is one of the reasons why I love skyrim and RPG games so much, so I gotta give this game 10/10, forever, the graphics still stand to this day as well, they don't look perfect but it's far from wincing levels!

If you look at this game and turn away because of one reason you are crazy, this is well worth 100 hours of gameplay.
