I'm not a big fan of DC Universe, well the whole superhero series but I do enjoy watching the movies or playing the videogames. In this case we'll discuss about Batman: Arkham Asylum, the debut of the videogame series about our favorite bat, done by Rocksteady Studios. This game is in some sort the prototype that shaped the whole action genre in all these years. So this means it is a well done game. The game feels in all it's aspects a truly enjoyable gem, maybe unpolished but it remains indeed a gem.


Pros:
+ The action doesn't feel too clumsy
+ Being Batman feels very authentic
+ The design of the city is well handled
+ The script isn't what we remember about the game but it surely isn't bad
+ Our hero has a wide range of tools to fight the bad guys
+ The game in PC is way better than console providing the game with better graphics
+ The detective mode is a nice add-on and it is easy to use
+ The game lasts approximately 10 hours, which isn't as bad
+ In PC you can find this game very cheap
+ The audio and the immersion are very polished


Mediocre:
~ Stealth actions aren't as rewarding as we could think
~ The game may be too easy at lower difficulties

Cons:
- The combat system seems a rip-off of the Assasin's Creed franchise
- The combat combos are too easy you don't feel like you are doing them
- If you want to clear the game fast you may be disappointed with the duration of the title
