Early Access Review
TL;DR at the bottom of the review.

This is unironically a really good game. Although given that - at time of writing - the game is sitting at "Overwhelmingly Positive" on Steam, I don't think you need me to tell you that.

Pros:
- Very addicting and fun gameplay loop, at least in the beginning. Can't speak to late game because I am not that far yet.
- Very easy game and concept to get into. Controls are simple and honestly all you really need.
- Graphics look fairly decent in my opinion. They aren't TLOU2 but honestly I really don't think they need to be at all.
- Game design is absolutely solid, I really have no gripes about it other than some features I'd like to see added but I will be talking about those later.
- Game runs absolutely fantastic, although that's to be expected given my graphics card is a 7900 XTX. However, I'm CONSTANTLY and without fail at the frame limit of my monitor which is 180Hz.
- Game is STUPIDLY easy to mod so if you want to do what I did and make ALL the cards Pokemon cards... you absolutely can.

Cons:
- While I wouldn't say the game is barebones, it's not exactly what I'd call "feature complete". Some QoL stuff would be nice like being able to change sprint to a hold instead of a toggle. That and having perhaps a scanner gun as an option to scan items on the shelves and just buy them straight from that. That and having a much more ready indicator on when market price on items change as opposed to having to go out and look for it. Obviously I assume that you don't really want this to be a basically direct copy of Supermarket Simulator but there are some ideas that would just be objectively good to have in this game. It would also be nice to have a thing when you're interacting with the workbench, it tells you exactly how many cards you have that fulfill the filters you have selected so that you know exactly how close you are to being able to make your next bulk box. Just some small, cool QoL and features that could be added I feel.
- I mentioned that the graphics were fine, which is true. Obviously I think they could be a bit better but of course, only if it doesn't affect the optimisation TOO much.
- Some things don't seem to work as I think they're intended. Granted, I only have the first one you unlock so far but it seems like the scent diffusers that deal with stinky customers seems to not work half the time. I dunno if they still activate when a customer is JUST out of range or if for some reason those customers take two sprays to get rid of the stinky condition but it seems/feels like half the time these machines just don't work. Maybe make it so they only need one spray or that it only sprays when the customer is ACTUALLY within range to clear the status condition? I dunno.
- Please get rid of the "processing fee" for hiring employees. I feel like the other barriers to hiring someone in game are good enough, I don't think it's fair that I have to pay a thousand dollars (no exaggeration) to hire the SECOND person for my store. I think the shop level restriction and wages are already a good enough way to prevent someone from blitzing through stuff.

TL;DR: This game - while it's not perfect and is still missing features - is still incredibly fun in it's current state and for the price of $17 (CAD), if this is the sort of game you like, it's absolutely worth it. It's incredibly simple, not much going on, but it being that allows it to be easy to get into and easy to understand... and that's not a slight against the game. They accomplish this while also making it addictive and fun just like Supermarket Simulator does.

Early Access Review
TL;DR at the bottom of the review.

I've only played four hours so far but so far I really like this game. Here are my thoughts:

PROS:
- It's very nostalgic and has a fun vibe and gameplay to it.
- The car selection is very good, there are tons of rally legends in here. Modern, retro, vintage, you basically have it all... along with some surprises. ;)
- The car MODELS are very good, they're high detail while still having that fun retro game look to them. All the cars look in theme with the graphics while still being EASILY recognized as what real life car they are based off of.
- The graphics are very good. It gets across the early 2000s and maybe even mid-to-late nineties look that the developer was going for. I do have one complaint about them but I will talk about that later.
- The soundtrack is pretty good. No real complaints. I personally would've gone a bit more Colin McRae Rally with it but what we've got is actually pretty good.
- The ability to make and post your own liveries is cool, it's something that I didn't expect to be in the game and I don't know if it was even really advertised as being part of the game.
- The inclusion of split-screen... amazing. Split-screen is a dying art in video games and honestly I wish more game developers would bring it back.
- The tracks are pretty good and have a good amount of variety to them. There's lots of sharp technical turns and long sweeping straights. There's something for everyone, I feel.
- Performance as you can probably guess is absolutely perfect. You could run this on a potato, I imagine.
- The driving is very accessible... but that isn't necessarily a full pro for reasons I will talk about later.
- The game has modding tools and Steam Workshop support, but I will expand on that later.

CONS:
- While I said that the graphics are good, there is one glaring issue with them. The CRT filter. It looks good but when in-game it makes the game so pixely that I literally CANNOT make out what's going on in the game so I think that needs to be fixed.
- The driving physics could do with some work, so far they're a bit simple. A lot of the cars very much feel the same, for example I thought that once I started driving the RWD cars, they'd be spinning out a lot easier but that wasn't the case. I feel like the cars should be made more distinctive from each other and the driving physics should be refined a bit. Maybe the AWD and FWD cars tend to understeer and the RWD cars tend to oversteer, so you have to be more careful about how you drive the cars instead of just going full gas or full brake at all times. Also maybe the cars tend to slide a lot more when on rough surfaces and on tarmac, they tend to grip up more. Right now all the surfaces feel the same and perhaps feel too grippy at times.
- It'd be cool if the modding tools were expanded a lot too, allowing us to make custom tracks, add in some custom cars, stuff like that.
- I personally think the game is lacking in features. Maybe a tuning and upgrade system might be good, allowing you to not only make your cars faster but also control in a way you like a bit more. Like maybe if you hit the wheel area of your car on something it damages your suspension and makes the car control worse. Upgrading your suspension makes it more durable and maybe more tunable. Maybe upgrading your gearbox allows you to change your car's gear ratios and stuff. Maybe you can adjust your car's aero so you can increase your cornering ability at the cost of top speed and vice versa. Maybe even there's tire wear and different tires in the game. Soft tires wear down faster but offer more grip and you have to swap them at pit stops more frequently. Hard tires wear down slower but your car tends to be a bit more skatey, especially on rough surfaces. Maybe you're only allowed a certain amount of tire swaps per cup as well to force you to think about if just swapping the tires every time you can is really a good idea. Stuff like this would add a bit more depth to the game that would be pretty fun.
- The fact that you can make your own liveries is cool, but I personally think that should be brought INTO the game instead of having it be modding. I also think the modding tools should be expanded massively so we can make custom tracks, custom cars... stuff like that.
- The game needs a bit more nice Quality of Life features. For example, I like the cups you can do to get progression and unlock new cars, but it would be a very nice thing to have a visualisation of what race you're currently on, how many races are in the cup you're doing / about to do, and how many races you have yet to do. Like for example, maybe in the loading screen between races underneath the race layout, there's a series of white boxes correlating to how many races are in this cup, and they progressively go red or some other colour as you complete the races. The one that you're CURRENTLY loading into is a different colour. Maybe this also appears in the pit box screen as well just in case you missed it on the loading screen. Features like that would be really useful.
- This may be a small thing all things considered but the handbrake honestly doesn't feel like it does anything. I press it and it just feels like I'm braking regularly and it's perhaps way too effective in slowing you down. Maybe make it so if you hold the handbrake it has a tendency to kick the rear end of your car out? That would actually give it some use as opposed to just being an alternative to the regular brake button.
- While I like the cup mode, I think having it be "beat a set time we decided" I'd like at least the option to have a race where there are AI that set their own times, and you have to try to beat them. Your positioning in the cup is determined by how many people are ahead of you and how many are behind, like a real rally series. This is purely a taste thing though, I understand that this isn't an objectively bad way to do things. Possibly an idea for a game mode though.
- The car sound effects are very representative of the era but all of the car engine sounds are basically indistinguishable from each other. I think it would be cool to have different engine sounds for each car... especially because I was excited to see the Audi Quattro was in the game but no awesome 5-cylinder turbo noises. :(
- Some of the achievements are broken. For example, I've completed an entire country in time trial mode IN A CAR FROM THAT COUNTRY and the achievements just... don't unlock. Not only that but there's an achievement to do Arizona in an American car but there are NO American cars in the game. Yeah, there are Fords like the RS200 and the Escorts but those are technically not American cars because they were Europe only. I think either that achievement needs to be removed or rephrased because it's technically not correct.

So far though, really, REALLY good bones for a game and I hope that it grows and is expanded upon a lot in future. There's the obvious "needs more tracks", "needs more cars", "needs more features" criticisms that are standard for an Early Access game... but really good bones. So far, it's good for a few hours of fun and perhaps some in-person multiplayer goofing around, but I hope that it gets made into a whole lot more than that. I'd say for the current price as of August 9th, 2025... it's very fair. You get a good amount of time in-game and fun for that price tag and I only hope that price to fun ratio gets more and more impressive.

This game is really cool in concept but at the end of the day there's a lot that ruins it for me. For example, the handling feels really weird. It feels like it's either 100% input or 0% input even on a controller. Either that or the game somehow has steering acceleration. You know how mouse acceleration works, as you're moving the mouse it slowly accelerates from zero to a high speed in an indirect and weird manner. It basically feels like that but for steering. Not only that but the tutorial is actual garbage. How do I get sponsors? I don't know. The game doesn't tell me. How do I navigate around and use the racing crew menus? I don't know, the game doesn't really explain it all that well. It doesn't help that that menu is the most insanely confusing and weird UI I've seen in my life, I have no idea how it works. The worst part though is something other people have detailed in the other reviews. The dynamic difficulty scaling is absolutely awful and the fact the devs have (supposedly) said they are not going to fix it is frankly awful and the impossibility of catching up to the AI is as well. The career forces you to be slower than everyone else (at least, in the beginning) and because of the fact you're penalized so hard for not winning races, it makes it absolutely grueling to try to be successful. This game is an absolutely fantastic concept with really cool stylized graphics but this one's not for me unless they fix the issues. Sorry. Wouldn't recommend.

I'm not going to lie, this is probably among the worst feeling racing games I've ever played. It is getting close to NFS 2015 levels of bad and that's saying something. Maybe I'm wrong but I dunno, it just doesn't feel good. I would not recommend.

This is a rehashing of a game that was previously on Steam and then they took it down. The devs had a good thing going at that time but then people started noticing that the devs were getting in bed with NFT companies. They were asked about this and promised the game would never become an NFT game.

Guess what happened? It became a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ NFT game. The backlash got so bad that they had to shut this game down, and now they've come crawling back.

Don't buy this ♥♥♥♥. Play something from devs that actually deserve your time.

Early Access Review
TL;DR at bottom of the review.

This game is unironically one of the best tactical shooters I've played period. Does it have it's issues? Sure. Every game does, but what this game does is so familiar yet so unique. Here's my thoughts:

Pros:
- Game unironically looks fantastic. It's not so good that I get it mistaken for real life, but it's really good, very realistic graphics that are never bad or even just tolerable to look at. Sure, if I go looking for stuff I'm sure I'd find something, but who actually plays a game like that?
- The guns are not only very well modeled, they also sound very good, they handle very well and every gun has a really good amount of modularity... unless the real life design doesn't really lend itself to that.
- Gun selection is pretty good. There's plenty of AR and AK platform rifles so you got the big two right there. You also have some oddballs I've literally never heard of like the AK-308. Could there be more? Absolutely, but I'll talk about that later.
- The gunplay in this game is actually really good. It all feels pretty convincing and authentic. I haven't tried many guns that feels bad or wrong. They even managed to authentically represent stuff like the AKM. A ton of games go for mega recoil on that gun to offset the fact that the round hits hard. It does recoil more than say an M4, but it's not like shooting a damn .50 BMG like how some games feel.
- The movement in this game is definitely stiffer than a game like a Call of Duty or a Battlefield but it does so in a way that feels realistic and believable. You're a dude running around the jungle in, like... a hundred pounds of gear. You're going to have some difficulty moving as fast and as well as you would if you were a dude in just a t-shirt and shorts.
- The weather effects are really good. So far I think it's just rain but I would love to see more added like perhaps fog or other interesting weather effects that would occur in this area of the world.
- The UI for the most part is very intuitive and I don't really have to struggle to figure out how to find or do something. It all feels like it just makes sense, which is more than can be said for a lot of modern games that go for basically Netflix UI.
- The variety in attachments is very good. The variety is wider for some guns than others but thankfully that's done in a realistic way and on guns where it makes sense. For example, the M4A1 has a very wide variety of attachments but something like the SVD mostly doesn't, which does make sense and IS realistic.
- The AI is overall fairly decent. It can obviously be improved, they don't seem to be all that smart but they do attempt to be sneaky with you. I've had them attempt to flank me before or be very quiet in hopes of not catching my attention while they sight me in. Literally had an AI I didn't see stay completely silent as he lined his Mosin up with my head. One shot and I was instantly dead. Not that that's bad, it felt pretty convincing because I accidentally gave him time to carefully aim. So basically the AI aren't the greatest but if you don't give them respect, they will humble you really quick.
- The map is not only varied in a very believable way but it is also fairly decent to explore. Even if you just wanna run around the map and check out every town and point of interest... you absolutely can do that. It's also a pretty big map as well so there's a decent amount of content here. Even in it's Early Access state.
- This game seems to strike a really good balance of being a game that you can absolutely sweat on and become competitive as all Hell and destroy everyone, or if you're just a guy who wants a realistic shooter to jump into, shoot a bunch of things and then log off when you have to go take care of your kids or something. At least, in my opinion it manages that. Some may not really see that as a pro but I absolutely do. They managed to strike a good balance here, I feel.
- Most importantly... the game is FUN. Granted, the content IS limited right now. Yes, it's the sort of game you have to actually be in the mood for as opposed to just getting random spurts of playing every once in a while. However, when you're in the mood for it and you haven't done everything in this game to death... it's actually really, really fun. Whether you're playing by yourself or with others, you can and will have fun. That's something you can't say about a lot of this game's main competitors... looking at you, Tarkov...

Cons:
- The optimization is actually not good. I'll give you an example. I'm sitting in the game right now as I'm typing this, in the home base. I have a 7900 XTX and I play at 1440p. Right now I am getting about 100-110 FPS. AT HOME BASE. WITH A 7900 XTX. A 4K CARD. I'M PLAYING AT 1440P. The funniest part is I don't even have all the settings cranked! Most of them are at medium! This ♥♥♥♥ is absolutely not good, man. I'm pretty sure it's a UE5 game (big ♥♥♥♥♥♥' surprise) so I have no clue how MUCH they can optimize this game but for God's sakes, guys. Please. Optimize this game as much as you can, it needs it.
- Some might say there's too many AR platform rifles in the game, for example we have a CQ A1, a Daniel Defense M4, an M4A1 and a SIG MCX. It'd be nice to get some odd, legacy Chinese weapons like the Type 85 SMG, the Type 64 pistol, the Type 79 SMG, . Or perhaps some other legacy firearms found in this general area of the world like the PPSh-41, MP40, Makarov PM or M1 Garands. Obviously it'd be nice to have a wider selection of modern weapons too but I think having variety would be nice.
- In my opinion some of the animations are pretty ugly. I have two examples off the top of my head. The reload animation on the AR platform rifles in my opinion are really not good looking at all. Same with the reload on the Glock. I think they need to do a pass on the animations and either rework or redo them to make them feel and look better. It's not that they're objectively wrong or awkward. I just think they look... ugly.
- I mentioned that the gunplay feels really good, which it does... but there are some guns that need love. For example, the shooting sound effect on the Glock is absolutely TERRIBLE. I dunno what they sampled for it in this game but in my opinion it sounds really bad. Like, if you went to a stock sound website and found "Handgun_fire.mp3" and just slapped it into the game. I think they need to redo some of the sound effects to make them feel more authentic and perhaps more punchy. Yeah, it's a handgun. I get it. It's not going to sound like a .308 nor do I want it to. I just want it to sound more... substantial, perhaps.
- Obviously the standard "needs more content". The content selection as of now is pretty decent but I feel like they could always add more. It'd be nice to have another map or maybe some more stuff to do on the current one. I believe I heard rumours from others that there is another map planned but I dunno how true that is or if that's even a believable rumour. The point is... it needs more content and it SEEMS like they might be aware of that.
- I talked earlier about how the AI was pretty good and pretty believable but that's not always the case. There are times where you're shooting at a group of AI from about a hundred meters away and one of them takes a SINGLE shot and domes you right in the skull with an unmodified AKM. Is that possible? Obviously. Should it happen as often as it does? I don't think so. It's not like it happens often, I've played this game for seventy hours and I think it's only happened to me at most eight times... but I still feel like that's a bit too much. Coding AI is tricky. I get it. It's hard. That's what you're paid to do as a programmer though. I feel like the AI needs a couple of passes in order to feel more authentic and believable while still being challenging.

TL;DR: This game is unironically great. It has issues, but I think they can work them out and it's well worth playing.

This game is like if Squad was garbage and it felt, looked and played like an asset flip and had no vehicles. Also the owner of the company is a massive tool that threatened to sue anyone who has been sponsored by other games in the past and then proceed to review this game negatively. He's also a YouTuber who tried (and possibly succeeded, don't know, haven't watched his content) to replace himself in his videos with AI because he's a lazy ♥♥♥♥-bag. He's also made it a habit to spread lies about other YouTubers that he literally has zero evidence for. The funniest part is that the lies he's spreading about other YouTubers are things that he himself has done in the past and continued doing even after getting called out. So not only is he an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, he's also unethical and a hypocrite. Don't even bother with this game. It - and the company - is trash.

I honestly couldn't recommend this game. I don't see what everyone is raving about with this game because I played it for about an hour and got bored. I built a camp and then started running around. Ran around for fifty minutes... found nothing. Not even a single cannibal. Genuinely can't recommend the game. You might have a different experience, but I didn't find ANYTHING, just... well... a forest.

Honestly, I do not think I recommend this game. Not only is the movement very clunky, but so is the combat (the main part of a game like this) and after the first level, it becomes very unbalanced. Basically, imagine it goes from an enemy taking about thirty hits to kill you in the first level to it taking them six or seven hits to kill you in the second level. That may not sound awful, but with no way to dodge other than moving backwards or to either side (which is very spotty and iffy) it makes for a not great gaming experience. That combined with the fact that the blocking is very much not good because you're basically punished for attacking. You can't cancel an attack to quickly block so if you're in the middle of a swing and an enemy attacks you, you're SOL, especially if you didn't make it out of the way via "dodging" by moving. I got this for $5 CAD and I don't think I'm going to stick with it.
