Really good. I've 100%'d this game a few times, working on 100%ing the DLC. Risk of Rain 2's OST is amazing, and helped me get a few people who enjoy music into gaming! Thanks Chris!

Yeah, this ♥♥♥♥ is peak, and i'm glad that the wait was worth it.

Silksong review 79 hours in:

Yeah this ♥♥♥♥ is peak, and i'm glad the wait was worth it. For my first play-through, I hit 98% completion with an in-game time of 60h 03m 32s, I lost 10 hours to steam cloud errors, though I recovered quite well after a few days break. Not sure where the other 9 hours of discrepancy came from!

Some people are angry that this game is hard, and that is understandable. I get it, it was in fact, very hard, and a few of my friends aren't fans of this game because of it, but I genuinely think this is it. I do not know how a game like this will be followed up for me.

I played Hollow Knight when it came out on switch in 2017, and reached 100% completion alongside Hidden Dreams, The Grimm Troupe, Lifeblood, and Godmaster DLCs. My online presence was even themed around being The Radiance!

This series means a whole lot to me, and i'm very happy personally that it matured in difficulty rather than just sticking to the same as the original. The original HK got hard near the end, but else-wise was relatively easy. A few deaths here and there, but man. Going back to play HK again is going to feel very weird after learning Silksong, the difference is staggering, both in difficulty as well as quality! (That's saying something too, since HK was very high quality after it's many updates over the years.)

I know Team Cherry are planning on releasing more DLC to come for this game, and I honestly can't wait. I'll be following the Daily Silksong DLC news just as I followed Daily Silksong News.

I put 11 hours into it day 1. 2 hours of that was on chapter 4. I'd highly recommend it, especially for the price!

I have heard from a friend that some regions are having troubles with the pricing, and i'm sure it'll be fixed soon enough. (Hopefully.)

For the low low price of free, JoelG and the rest of the team have done an outstanding job! The game has immaculate vibes, music, art, and secrets.

Whilst this is only chapter 1, I can only hope that the rest of the chapters will be as high quality as this one! It is a rather short chapter, especially if you don't find every secret, but finding said secrets has been a very fun little activity!

For those of you who are fans of this game and it's secrets, I highly recommend visiting the Bathroom joelgc website made by Tanya Hastur! It has a nice little community going on there with plenty of secrets hidden throughout the websites, rewards for finding them, and some banging tunes much like the one found in the animation series, and the game!

As a fan of ENA for a while, I can say that this game adaptation of what started as an animation is absolutely going to be something that launches the popularity of ENA even further, and I can't wait to see people experience it.

Very fun little game! The difficulty ramps up quite evenly, and it even gives you time to learn mechanics without having to spell them out for you before throwing more and more onto the pile. It becomes really chaotic by the end, and i'll absolutely have a fun time beating the game on hard mode when I get around to it!

For the price of free, and an hour of your time, being able to smooch cute ghosts is viable!

I genuinely love this game, and couldn't recommend it more, HOWEVER, they need to optimise how much bandwidth is used in multiplayer, as it's kind of crazy that I can play other games that are much, much more intensive than this one with 48 players in a server with little lag, but if I join a server with 4 or more players in it, my entire internet chugs to a hault and I can't even sit in a discord call.

Reviewing Noita is a... difficult thing to do. It's a hesitant "Yes" to recommend this game to others. Just like Rain World, (another pixel game that hates you) I love everything about it's mechanics, it's art-style, it's goofiness, etc. It's just that the game, REALLY hates you, and can be extremely confusing for new players.

Obviously, this is a skill and knowledge issue, and with time, you WILL get better at the game, figure things out, and start styling on enemies but boy does this game hand your ass to you, and it will never stop handing your ass to you in the most ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ways.

Getting Noita'd is part of the fun, and if you don't have an easy time letting go of your deaths in games, I don't recommend it to you at all, if you can let go, (even if it takes you a few days to come back to it), this game will be plenty of fun, and fill you with a sense of exploration few other games can, with a spell-crafting system I wish I could emulate in other forms of media.
