The best investigative mystery game there is, hands down. It's incredibly detailed. There are tons of hidden clues, and you're going to need to keep detailed notes as well as search and re-search locations in order to find the truth. Plenty of number puzzles for those who enjoy that kind of thing. I've spent many, many hours playing this game and still have a lot to uncover!

Starts off alright, but ends in an underwhelming way. I get the idea the developers had a much more ambitious vision for this game and they had to end up scaling down. There are lots of loose ends and dead-end clues, including objects, notes, and mentions of entire characters that realize no functionality in the complete game. The story drops off, as well, and the ending seems far too forced and improbable. The topics of suicide and CSA are handled in a rather cavalier manner that doesn't seem entirely appropriate. If you have some time to kill and the game is on sale, then I'd recommend. Otherwise, look elsewhere for a good mystery sim.

This is one of the best games I've ever played. At first it's wacky and covered in dark humor - the in-game currency is scandalous magazines and the characters are a host of strangely charming drug addicts and psychopaths. As you keep playing LISA, however, you'll find it's much more than a game. Though it is a platformer made in RPG Maker VX, the atmosphere is rich, and everything from the quirky music to unsettling artwork contributes to the experience. There are so many levels (psychologically) to this game, and the replay value is undeniable.

Please play this game, you will not regret it. It is worth the full 10 dollars, however, if you want the collector's edition (I do not have this but in hinddight I wish I had purchased it) I would wait for a sale, as it can be a bit pricey if you're short on cash.

Amazing game, amazing story, and AMAZING work - not many platformers are make on RPG VX Ace just because of the sheer amount of work required. Not to mention that this game uses its own tileset and character animations - the amount of heart put into this game is undeniable and felt thoroughly throughout.

Buy this game.

At first, I felt a little out of place with this game, because it is unfamiliar and has a very unique feel to it. But, it's great. It's fun, neer gets boring (coming from someone who is bored very easily), has a kickass combat system, strategy, story, and a fantasy feel to it. I recommend buying it on a sale; I, personally, would not pay over $9.00 for it, as I am tight on game money. But, if you can catch it at a cut price, it's a fantastic game that you'll be able to get many, many hours out of.

Awesome game! When it comes to game money I'm usually short on pocket change so choose a long time deciding what to buy when I have the money...and this was totally worth it! It's a beautiful game even though it's only in the beta stage (oh and despite that it hasn't crashed/bugged out yet :D), and I am in love with the soundtrack. It's very immersive and imaginitive as well. Definitly recommend it to anyone out there. Thanks Chucklefish, keep up the awesome work!
