I don't know how one could entwine history and gaming into something that is actually enjoyable for hours on end... yet here we are. I have learnt so much about other cultures through this game (because of course I went down that wikipedia rabbit hole) and I can't really say that for any other game.

And not just that- the gameplay is excellent. Yes, there are some flaws that literally everyone else covered. But if I can continuously play the game for an entire day without feeling bored, then clearly something was done right.

The only reason why I don't have 1000 hours into the game is because I'm scared that this game will eat up my life and I have to force myself not to start a new game :p Maybe one day- but hopefully not too soon!

Do you love Steven Universe? I do.

I genuinely don't have much to say about this game. I don't play RPGs, but here I am. And I love it. Sure there are some issues I have here, but the mechanics here are fun. I love the gameplay and how the battle mechanics are vastly improved from its predecessor, Attack the Light. The music is great, just like the show (except the credits tbh). The adventure is awesome. The 2nd person perspective of the game is annoying... at first, till you realise that this perspective actually makes it more fun for you to explore the hidden secrets this game have which was a pleasant surprise. The story is... ok that's the only real problem I have with this game. Maybe I have high standards because the show had such high standards but the story isn't that good. I haven't played the sequel (Unleash the Light), but hopefully it answers the questions this one sets up.

But don't go into this game for the story. Go into the game for a fun adventure! Especially if you love the show.

"What time is it?".

Sequels usually don't perform as well as their original game. This is one of the exception.

TSPUP is a brilliant, comedic game that builds on the original, proving that some ludicrous concepts can work if you know how to use it properly.

If you have played the original game, I assure you that this game is way better. It's a choose your own adventure game, but with so many ideas that are well executed. I want to talk about it a lot, but it would probably spoil the fun of this game. Trust me, it's best if you buy this game and enjoy it yourself, because that's the only way you get the full experience out of this game.

Treat it as a masterpiece.

(If you owned the original game, then yes $20 might be too much. But if you're a first time player, just get this game. All the endings from the original game are still here.)

This game makes me want to swear.

Youtuber's life is the worst game I have played thus far. This is basically the sims 4, but its very grindy and you can't interact with people like in the sims. It's basically disguised as a clicker game where your goal is to increase the number of subs/views/money by having many clicks to do a thing, tossing in some random RNG and... nothing else.

This game is full of bugs. For example, you're required to go to events when joining a network or you will be kicked. You can join events but it won't be counted towards your goal... why? Also when you didn't meet the requirements? You won't be kicked out! They just say "hey, we know it's you're first month here, so we will be lenient. now take your goals seriously or we will actually kick you out" . Again. And Again. And Again. Oh, what's that? You hired a collaborator? Well screw you, the collaborator will just walk out of the door despite you telling her that she needs to make a video. Oh, you want your network to solve your "copyright claim" for you when they are supposed to have a 90% chance of solving it for you? F*** you, the network will always fail to resolve your claim and you have to pay for it yourself.

They don't even care about the art behind it. This game is full of grammatical and spelling errors. Seriously, you have an ENTIRE DEV TEAM dedicated to this and you can't even write coherent sentences or even bother spellchecking your game? This game has been released for 3 years, but of course the corporate mindset says forget about it, we are here to collect some money from you idiots who buy this game, thinking it's gonna be fun, and then run away with it without fixing anything. You can tell that because Youtuber's life 2 exists, and the reviews there are worse than this game. Keep in mind, this game is more than 5 years old.

But at least the youtube experience is fun, right? WRONG. I know how youtubers do their work and this game isn't realistic one bit. For example, there is no option for you to choose your video's thumbnails or change video tags, which is important in increasing your video's SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) in Youtube. You can change your video's title, but that doesn't impact the number of views you get. Copyright strike? No option to trim it out rather than paying a fine. You could make it such that trimming a part of the video makes you lose some subs/lose some money, but nope. Some reaction cards will get you a copyright strike. for example, saying "whATTTTTTTT?" This is like TFB trademarking "React". Who the hell does that and why would you get a copyright strike over this? Also, for gaming youtubers, you have to do a variety of games, such as walkthroughs, gameplays, reviews, first impressions, collabs, etc. in order to maintain views. Sometimes, choosing a specific type of video (notably gameplays) will result in more dislikes. Why? If I make a gameplay video of Youtuber's life, then release a review because people hate gameplay vids all of the sudden, then continue gameplays because now no one dislikes gameplay videos anymore, I would lose hundreds of subs for making such stupid descisions.

I could go on and on, but this game isn't realistic of what a Youtuber's life really is like. It could have been a cool thing where you explore what living in the shoes of a youtuber is like and the challenges you face. Rather than having the challenges be losing views and subs, getting negative comments, getting your channel hacked, being successful without collaborators or what are essentially MCNs, etc., the challenges this game presents is "hey, you needs to tweet every 5 minutes and go to events every 1 month in order to make people happy or they won't watch your videos!" Name one youtuber who lost views or subs because they didn't attend a convention/post a tweet that they never promised.

I got so much more to say but... just... this game isn't worth my time ranting any more. It sucks and the devs won't do anything, period. The only reason why this game isn't a 1/10 is because there is actually a goal for you to accomplish. I can't believe that it's the first time I am so happy to get a game over with, because it means I don't have to touch it anymore.

"When Stanley came to 2 open doors, he went to the door on his left".

This is one of the best games I had played in years. The Stanley Parable is such a unique game that is so enjoyable, yet difficult to explain to anyone who hasn't played it before.

It is a choose your own adventure game. But it's really unique. There are many paths you could take which results in many different parables. The comedy is the best out of all the games I played. The messages from each path you take is really deep and worth the time to ponder over. One of the paths literally rehashes the entire message of The Matrix and I LOVE it. It's such a unique game that I doubt anyone has tried copying it. Also its humour is not one that is likely to age anytime soon. I also love the fact that it uses the source engine- the same engine used to make HL and Portal. And it's used to its fullest potential, which makes this game ever more awesome.

The sad thing is, with a game like this, there is no replayability value. But you will probably get the best experience in gaming ever. Because I did.

I seriously recommend everyone to at least play an hour into it. It's a casual game that is full of laughs and makes you ponder about... life! Treat is as a criticism of the corporate world. Treat it as an exploration of what reality means. Treat it as an exploration of choice. Treat it as an exploration of insanity. Or just stay in the broom closet and let the narrator get mad at you.

Treat it as a masterpiece.

When I was young, I played the Henry Stickmin series. They were really short games, but I still enjoyed them nontheless. But I grown to appreciate it over time. Probably not the best flash game, but it's still enjoyable for the content that was pushed out. I'm glad that this game is now on steam, at least I can support the devs.

The biggest... (complaint?) I have is Completing the Mission, the last game in the series exclusive to this collection. I liked it, but it worked so differently to other ones. Whereas you start with 1-2 (4-5 paths in later games) in the original flash games, for CTM you have 14 STARTING POINTS, each leading to 1 ending (except 1, where there are 2 endings). I have mixed feelings about it, because it didn't seemed as immersive as the other games. But I'm also glad that it served as a series finale regardless of which ending you chose, which is neat. Like I said, I have mixed feelings.

If you played the flash version and are looking for content, CTM probably won't be as satisfying as you think. But if you are new to the series or want to support the devs, then this series is still one of the best flash games that managed to stand the test of time. Also the 2010s era comedy still works today, believe it or not.

This is a deceiving puzzle game. It looks cute and simple on the surface, but you'll be tearing your hair off after 20 minutes. The concept of this game is really simple, but the way you solve it is either misleading or complex. But it's the good kind of misleading, because (no spoilers) all obstacles/items in the game helps you solve the puzzle, just not in the way you expect it to.

So don't get me wrong. If you love puzzle games and would like to give yourself a challenge, this is the game for you.

I'm done with this game. I came back to this game 3 months ago, and thought things massively improved since 1.1. And then it got ruined last week. I'm done getting my hopes up that this game will be any good. I have uninstalled this game.

How you manage to make a game which can't even load the first level or go into settings and instead gives me a black screen baffles me.
