This game is really good as an arcade game, takes some getting used to, but after a while you will get to expert plus and have lost your life to vr.

Alyx is probably my favourite game that I have played in my life so far, this game is so immersive and beautiful that at moments I think I am actually inside city 17. Coming into this game I had never finished a half life game, however I had watched some plot explaining youtube videos to catch myself up. Of course I did not get out as much as those who waited upwards of 10 years for the game, but I feel like I can enjoy the story and how great it is for the half life series. I intend on playing all the remaining half life games since I have played, and enjoyed this game. This game is a must have for any vr owner.

This game is a fun unrealistic game but the ragdoll game style is hard to beat. i would recomend absolver if you want somthing more realistic. it is pretty fun if you have your friends on this with discord or somthing.

I like the art style for this game... however their are many major floors. the game is pretty unoptimised and if you want to play at 30 fps on a low spec computer you will have to have many sacrafices. It is very fun and i would recomend it but only to those that dont care about graphics. unlike borderlands the lowest detail you can get does not go as low as i would like. offline mode is fun i guess; it gets you a small boost. if you want a good game like this i would highly recomend stick fight: the game or gangbeasts. this game is still amazing. its defenatly not worth any more than $20 so try to get it on sale. for referance i got this game for $15 and i am satisfied with it. but wouldent reccomend it unless you have specs higher than:

those are my specs and i cant push the game to a reasonable frame rate without it looking like a game made for snes but with unclear colour.

playing this game for quite a while (below minimum requirements) i figured out the core mechanics with some ease but i would hevily recommend you would change the max lod to much lower than it is if you have a budjet pc or just want beasty numbers of frames. if you set all the max lod to 2500 you wount even be able to notice the difference. The game is very fun and you dont need to play the other games you just really need to know who handsome jack is. if you want to. i regret to say this but checkout matpats video. (sigh). i would recomend that if you arnt a fan of the black lines that you can turn them off if you look on the internet hard. That will also give you a fps increse. i get a solid 70 frames. with a core i5 on a laptop with intell hd 5500. the story is good. the graphics are sharp. honestly i cant think of a game more worth paying for. i would strongly recommed this to anyone with or without a good pc. you can change up the settings so much you can make the characters only have 1 colour for like 300 frames boost. if you like: good graphics, rich storyline and lots of guns i would expect you to allreaddy have this game so go ahead and pay gaben and 2k for this game. BTW. you dont need the dlc to have a good time.
