Sht graphics, Shtty uninspired character design. Anticheat prevents you from installing reshade (which sucks because theres now no way to fix the terrible color grading and overblown specular blue) and cant use ds4 windows. Why? Why would you add measures to block that? Thats RIDICULOUS.
Devolopment team clearly knows nothing about skateboard culture and it shows with this "hey fellow kids" attitude and dialog.

I cant even play this sht for more then 5 minutes because i get kicked from the server everytime like clockwork. Which sucks because the map is actually really good, ill give you that. Theres no solution to the problem and it sucks.

We waited 15 years for this game and this what we get?
Tighten tf up, fix these things, actually take some feedback, because i know u prob didnt get much critisism during that little playtest that you only had dck riding, clout chasing little influencers that didnt have the blls to tell you this sucks for the most part play in.

This is definitely a game that's just better to watch your favorite streamer play. Idk if i could recommend it to the average person. It's buggy, the AI is chaotically random, the camera is awful, all a recipe for a fun stream. But for a person playing on their own, its just annoying and frustrating. For me the thing thats most frustrating, is I have alot of respect for Mat Dickie. I think hes got some great ideas and his games are cool. I too am a person that feels they MUST do everything themselves, so i totally understand where hes coming from, but this game could be SO great, over the top awesome, way better than 2k or any other would-be competitor, if he JUST made a actual dev team to help him with Unity stuff and his archaic scripting. The game has SO MUCH potential, but its being throttled by his own stubbornness.
It drives me insane.

Games is so broken, it just things just break suddenly. This time it decided i couldnt ADS anymore (keybind wasnt changed) and it caused me to lose everything i was carrying. SO FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So underwhelmed with this.
They rode they hype of "being responsible of the old good games" to help sell this, promised to be an homage/ recapture the feel those old games.
Besides perhaps the controls, it doesnt do that at all. It feels like a 2k wwe game with like 5% of the features.
The character customizer is frustratingly lacking, that alone is enough to demand a refund, but i still gave it a chance and played the story a bit hoping id unlock items for the customizer. and now im over the refund window. I was really hoping for this to be the "2k killer" but its barely competition.

If youre still thinking about buying this, wait for a big steam sale and get it on a juicy discount.

This isnt so much of a game as it is a very strange social experiment.

WHY DID I BUY THIS!?

I told myself last year with 2k22 that id never buy one of these uninspired copy and paste games
ever again, but for some reason, i decided to give this a chance.

Everytime i try to play to justify my purchase, i end up alt+f4ing out of rage, boredom and disgust.
It feels like deleted all my 2k22 save data and payed for it.

With that being said, there really needs to be better legal regulation around this sort of thing. A company shouldnt be able to have exclusive rights over an entire sports franchise and be allowed to rob you every year because theyre the only game in town, This is wrong.
2K is an awful company.

Hated this.

What is my motivation here? I just dont understand how this is supposed to be fun tbh
