Thought this was going to be the so called ''cod killer'', well it ended up being just like cod...
Redsec = Warzone 3
Weapons feel like they shoot laser beams.
Big focus on infantry, vehicles are underwhelming.
Big focus on small scale combat, and big scale maps feel small anyways.
32v32 games feel like 10v10, you keep finding the same 5 people and whenever you are downed there's not a single soul nearby (even if you are downed in the objective area)
Disgusting monetization practices exactly like COD does, battlepasses + pass upgrades (like blackcell from cod), free content is lame, paid content is overprized and mediocre.
People claim they've been finding lots of cheaters nowadays...

EA literally just copied COD's homework, it's got a good gameplay feeling but all the rest is underwhelming.

This is a review for the Khaos Reigns dlc, we all already know mk1 feels lackluster in general.

I will cut it right to the chase, don't buy the Khaos Reigns expansion, get the characters individually.
The dlc campaign is the most rushed and uninteresting piece of crap i have ever seen and surely belongs to the list of one of the worst campaigns this franchise had. I would like to begin by saying that the devs still have not learned about good rewards. The expansion rewards you with lame cosmetics, terrible color palettes, artwork, stages which are decent and a couple announcers: Noob and Havik, so you won't be missing much.
The whole story is rushed from the beginning to end, where in certain scenes characters that were fighting will just skip to being captured, downed or just disappear from existence until further notice. Havik as a villain in this story feels odd, there is nothing special about him he is just a lazy re-skinned Havik with an army of lazy re-skinned re-used characters that look cringy af and want to spread chaos.

Seriously, Havik in this dlc feels like a reboot of Meat than an actual Havik. The outfit and all of Havik's powers just scream Meat to me, being able to remove limbs and grow them back is something Meat would do whereas Havik would just crack his bones.

Anyways, the campaign allows you to play as the three main characters of this dlc: Sektor, Cyrax and later on Noob Saibot. But not just them, the story also wants you to play as alternative versions of characters like Tanya and Rain (which are there to replace what it feels like Jade and Kotal Kahn) these 2 alternative versions are literally what Jade and Kotal (or maybe Sindel and Shao) were supposed to be except Tanya and Rain are together as empress and emperor, they come from a different dimension which is why this would make sense, but that does not mean it is interesting. The story tries to focus on these 2 characters for a bit and tries to make dramatic scenes that end up just being mediocre, to the point that after so much chatter and boring events you end up wanting to beat the sh*tshow of a campaign Khaos Reigns is.

Btw the final boss fight is just Havik with a hadouken move, lazy a$$ devs

HD2 is a fantastic game but unfortunately it belongs to the wrong people.
Arrowhead keeps showing players how to not develop a game by continuously ignoring players's feedback, giving fake promises, lying to the community and not prioritizing on the right things.

Ship modules are abandoned, samples and requisition are pointless to have (idc about the dss), medals after medals after medals as an excuse for "rewards",seriously...cant you think of anything else to give us for completing major orders? How about helmets, armor, guns, color schemes, something different ffs.

They claim they wont nerf some guns but then shadow nerf them and later apologize for it (like the coyote situation), or buff weapons but then buff enemies to counter the previous weapon buff...

They care more about the amount of enemies they throw at the players rather than caring about the players themselves. In a recent update it was confirmed they were going to add more enemies, as if we didnt have enough to struggle against already...give us ammo/primary firepower first then add your precious enemies.

They nerfed the spawn rate of supercredits during matches, high level matches spawn less to no credits while in lower difficulties you find them more often...shouldnt it be the other way around?... Bad design.

Lots of weapons/armor passives/boosters are still obsolete thanks to being overshadowed by better options, everything should feel effective to use and having to stick to a some sort of "meta" makes the game boring...

The game engine is obsolete and should be changed asap, every time they try to fix an issue the issue persists or it comes back a few days later.

The only good thing i can think of them doing was the storage reduction beta update which also reduced frame drops and i can play the game on higher settings now...other than that the game needs a lot to be worked on.
