Early Access Review
I love this game, I am so excited to see it's development continue. I hope documentation of the game's content will continue, it would help greatly with my goal of turning this setting into a DnD campaign.

Burnin' Rubber 6 is looking to be a worthy successor to the previous and much older games in the series. It certainly needs more work in it's current state though, and there are several glaring problems and a large amount of unfinished content. I can clearly see the bones of a good game here, there just needs to be many changes and additions to become a truly wonderful game.

Issues with vehicles and weapons:
The turn speed on vehicles do not scale with current speed, so when you are at low speeds, you have an extremely slow turn rate that requires you to back up a large distance to go around any corners you may hit.
The normal turn of your vehicle doesn't have any speed tradeoff, unlike most other games, while the drift has massive speed loss, making it far worse to use over any extended period of time.
There is also no ramp up time for turning currently, which causes problems when trying to aim precisely when moving at higher speeds. I believe the default turn should slightly decrease your speed/acceleration, while the drift should have a marginal speed/acceleration increase from it's current state.
The turn rate of the truck used in the elimination mission has such an extremely slow turn and drift, so much so that it is nearly impossible to complete the track without hitting every wall you try to turn at.
There is currently no invulnerability when respawning, meaning you can be wrecked and respawn only to be immediately wrecked again.
The minigun weapon currently has no wind up speed, and nearly perfect accuracy, which feels off for both the type of weapon, and the game feel.
Some weapon mounting locations in the game do not conform to the vehicle, resulting in floating sections which could be easily fixed just by adjusting the angle.
Certain weapons used by NPC drivers currently cause large lag spikes when the projectiles explode.
I personally also believe weapon ammo count is too high when factoring in the amount of ammo refill upgrades along each track, there should be a tradeoff for ignoring ammo refills and going purely for nitro refills.
Health feels good in it's current state, though certain weapons damage seem a bit overtuned for how much health the default vehicles have.

Issues and concerns with maps, geometry, and physics:
Of the maps I have played, none have had alternative routes or shortcuts to take, I hope these will be included in the future.
This is a personal dislike, but I believe the cars feel stuck to the ground and do not get the airtime possible in previous titles that made jumps feel so good to use.
I do believe wrecked objects have their physics tied to fps currently, which can cause problems when running the game at higher fps like for my 165 hz monitor.
Several objects on each map seem like they can be passed through to wreck them and keep your momentum, but this is often not the case, resulting in you losing all of your speed almost immediately, wrecked cars also have this trait.
A certain jump using a dumpster on one of the maps has wonky geometry and has caused my vehicle to get stuck on the edge more than once, and there is currently no way to self destruct/unstuck your vehicle.

Performance issues:
The realtime lighting system currently in the game does not work at all, it brings my RTX 4070 Super to 6 fps and constantly freezes. There are also some other minor issues with freezing outside of realtime lighting, presumably due to loading assets like a certain billboard texture on the first map I tried.
Load speed seems quite unoptimized in the current beta, I am running the game on a M.2 SSD and it is often taking more than 10 second to load into each map on the lowest settings.

Audio and menu issues:
Audio mixing is a bit off, but the classic sound design fits quite well with the style of the game. Though some of these sound effects do certainly feel like they are from 2010 and need updates/replacements.
There is currently no way to mute the game while tabbed out, and you can still interact with menus while doing so.

Unimplemented content:
I do believe open world will be added eventually, similar to Burnin' Rubber 4, my personal favorite title in the series by far, but it is unimplemented in the current demo.
Vehicle customization is also currently unimplemented in this beta, which I believe will be added in the future. I do hope you will be able to customize car components, and not just weapons/paint.
Due to vehicle customization not being implemented, there is currently no use for the game's currency, this should be resolved in the future.
There appears to be a currently useless leveling system, I presume this will be used to unlock new vehicles, parts, and weapons to buy in future versions.

I hope that the devs will continue working on this game, for I see massive potential in it, and it is already in a very playable state. I am certain I missed things in this demo, but I will be coming back to it at a later, more finished state.

Incredible demo that has massive potential, I could easily see this being as popular as Lethal Company, with a more serious tone. Does clearly need work with networking and bugs in multiplayer, along with more content overall, but this is a really incredible start.

Before reading this review, just go play Dying Light 1 instead, it is far better.

I am completely and utterly disappointed in Techland and their handling of this game. All I can really say about this game is it looks great and feels terrible. The combat looked fine in the teasers and trailers, but it feels very unimpactful and clunky, along with being quite unbalanced. Some abilities are strictly just better to use, with others feeling extremely underpowered. I also feel as if the dismemberment system was toned down, which is not that bad of a thing, but it really makes the combat feel less impactful. I also feel as if the stamina especially for (normal) kicking consumed far too much, forcing you to take large pauses in the middle of combat to just run away.
The visual style of the game is pretty unique and overall quite good, although with some annoying distortion effects every now and then that bring down the experience.
The story is fine and decently interesting, but it seems Techland went with the modern trend of over promise and under deliver with the whole your choices really matter and effect the open world thing.
Bugs and glitches infest this game, I have played for a small period of time yet I saw a ton of smaller visual bugs and multiple glitches that directly interfered with my gameplay.
The parkour is extremely disappointing and is a direct downgrade from DL1, with one or two entirely new moves added while reducing the usability of the other moves. The jumping and air movement feels extremely floaty and I often found myself seemingly sliding across the air, making the aerial movement very unresponsive and dissatisfying. I also personally really dislike the changes made to sprinting, but that is just preference.
I surely missed a few things in here, but I don't care to think about this game anymore. I really wish I could refund it, but it is too late for that now. I hope that Techland can move on to make better things like DL1 again.

Well, the game looked great on the Steam page. Music was great too, although very limited due to there only being 2 (That I have heard) different tracks. That is all that I can say is good in this game, it is currently incredibly unbalanced and the hit registration is absolutely terrible. I also was put into matches exclusively with this one person, who for some reason, could instantly 1 shot me when I have 2000 hp and 1000 armor. They also seemed to take like half of the dmg that I took, and we even had the exact same vehicle and setup. (Edit) Also, the game has incredibly terrible wait times on queues. It took me 9 mins of waiting in queue before I just closed the game, and this was on the 1st out of only 2 gamemodes.
