Xfire was a great part of my childhood and early adulthood, and even since I was forced to swithc to Raptr I noticed slow decline in my gaming passion (I'm still very active in World of Warcraft, feel free to add me Narim#2951).
Steam is still just a tool to me, not a platform I would fully engage in. But that might change, yes.
I do understand Origin would be another stable pick (as far as staying alive is concerned), but they have some of the same compatibility issues of our old version of Xfire, so I wouldn't exactly suggest Origin over Steam, but it is another alternative that might be worth trying if you don't particularly want to stick with Steam for the same functions.
As far as I know, I don't believe Uplay has the ability to import games that are not purchased (or activated) through their platform yet...
It's appeard that Raptr is going down too: http://about.raptr.com/goodbye-raptr/
Sad to hear about that, but nothing beats good ol' Xfire (4 life!)
I got it and just accepted it. I just got home from work, so sorry about the delay.
Sent you a friend invite on GOG Galaxy , not sure if it ever went through. Says "PENDING INVITATION", so I guess it's just waiting for a response. I don't do much with GOG either, but I purchased a number of games over GOG rather than Steam back during the time I was boycotting Steam for a year as well as now if Steam doesn't have a significant sale & I can't find a purchase for a Steam version anywhere else (don't really trust purchasing from Steam directly after refusing to refund that purchase of Fray after it was already abandonware).

wait .. .wait are they learning? after all these years? Why now?
last thing that looks alive and kicking is howlongtobeat, at least it's not changing priorities.
All is well , they will notice a decline in users...
They realy think Esports guys want to use such an immature platform with such low prizepools...
SILLY!
