They recently added the retroarch app to the steam store.
I am trying to configure steam rom manager to load my games with retroarch (which incorporates "remote play") into steam for when my steam deck arrives home to be able to play remote play a tekken 3 apart from showing my friends that I am playing playing and having the rom inside the library as if it were a purchased steam game (very useful since navigating from retroarch is annoying, so being able to search for the rom with the help of SRM incorporating it as one more game inside the library is fabulous) .
But I have a problem when I have configured the whole game does not start when I give it to play from the library (retroarch does not open and nothing happens)
Anyone can help me about this? Thank you
Sinec Retroarch allows for steam screenshot uploads, playing times etc. Is there a way to have games from it added as separate thumbnails for the Retroarch ?
Thanks in advance.

I put my SNES, GBA and DS ROMS on steam but for some reason only the SNES ones launch.
The GBA ones gives me this error: "Unsupported file type: -L" and the DS ones launches but instantly closes, if I launch them directly these errors don't happen, any idea of what is causing this? Thanks.
Retro Achievements is actually a website. They've made their own special versions of some emulators which can connect to your account on the site. They just add some replayability to older games. There's no relation between Retro Achievements and your achievements in retro games on Steam. In fact, your Steam friends won't know about your Retro Achievements unlocks... that is, unless they also have a Retro Achievements account so you can challenge each other.
tl;dr: RA and Steam don't really have anything to do with each other. SRM just helps bridge that gap by allowing you to add games to Steam that will play on your RA emulators seamlessly.

Thank you!
USE VISUAL STUDIO CODE OR ANY OTHER MODERN NOTEPAD APP. DO NOT USE NOTEPAD (notepad++ should be fine but YMMV.)
Have issues with shortcuts? Delete these THREE files within \\Steam\Userdata\IDHERE\config:

1) Go to "Parsers" page, select "Glob" parser type and set "Configuration title" to whatever you want;
2) Set "Executable" to a path to dolphin.exe;
3) Set "ROMs directory" to where your iso and GCZ files are;
4) Set "Steam directory" to, well, Steam directory (for ex. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam);
5) Set "User's glob" to "${title}.@(iso|GCZ)";
6) Set "Command line arguments" to <--batch --exec "${filePath}"> (without < and >);
7) Select image providers that you want;
8) Go to "Preview" page and click on the "Generate app list" button.
9) Select images you like and save.
